It's not that great now...I mean, your mail probably won't even reach 1 GB And it doesn't have much features, except archiving and searching stuff...but I heard they're adding more features, and by the time they're done improving, I think it's going to be a blast

Yeah, I agree. You probably won't even need to delete any e-mail for the rest of your life and still not hit the 1 GB quota.

Ofcourse gmail is a very friendly one, and there is no security threat in it! I one of the oldest users!
People who still dont have a gmail,please go to gmailswap.com and try to get one and enjoy the wonderful service!!!

seems gmail stopped giving out invites already (for the meantime)... so unused/unregistered gmail invites are very rare nowadays. if you can still grab one these days, consider yourself lucky! got mine at gmailswap days before invites became scarce.

re: security threats - all hogwash! have read those white papers they have on the matter, and you will feel threatened only if you have anything to hide. LOL!

he.. he.. i just hear gmail some weeks ago. here yuo are talking about this. truely i want account @ gmail but dunno how to sign up because of still beta-version. does every body give me, @ least how to signup or get invitation?

gmail is great. the downtime is far less than hotmail and is a great service to have all your email forwarded to.

you can even download pop goes the gmail to read everything via outlook.

isn't microsoft improving their email service too? Supposely they are working on a new system and as well they will provide more storage space. It's wonderful to see how all this competition going on will benefit us!

    well gmail invites have been out forever it seems. Instead of asking people for them, there are some
    sites that allow you to just sign up for one. one of these sites is this site . you can either
    donate your invites to share with others or you can sign up for your own. so if you dont really feel
