Their plan is to continue growing BEYOND 2GBs. So I guess they'll keep on going when they can, and won't stay at 2054 megs. This is why Gmail is by far the best Email service out there. Just try and get one as soon as possible if you don't have one already. |

Yes, it will go to 3 GB. At the rate their going, you will get exactly 1 gig (1048 MB) annually.

wow. you're right. I just checked, it gives you 2054 megs of space. I can't even fill 250 megs with hotmail. I'm thingking of turning it into a gmail drive. I heared that you can turn your gmail account into a harddrive on the internet. Although I'm not sure if you can still use it as a email account aswell if you do that. Gmail Drive shell extension

i think it is a good advertisement becaue all the competition were too stupid to think of it first. Gmail was the market leader when they promoted their 1 Gig email. Then all the "me too" guys came in and said, we give 2 gigs... and others were like "so? I give 3 gigs".. Google is now saying, screw the competition. We will give you whatever space you need and more.

If u guys think 2 gb is high then what about 1 tera byte yes u read it right there is a site called www.hriders.com that provides 1 tb of space and 500 mb attachments for freeeee . But the services are no match for googles
