I clicked on $1.99 Domain Registration on that page and this is what I got.

I hate terms like QUALIFY, NEW ORDER, ELIGIBLE, LIMITED and PROMOTIONS when it comes to PAID SERVICES.
Why put restrictions when you are charging... :-/

The shared Hosting link offers 100 GB space which is clearly overselling.

Trap17 provides the above facilities for free (more than these). One feature "FANTASTICO" provided by Trap17 is enough to beat everything else. The only difference is, we never thought about EXAGGERATING our features. (our members wouldn't seriously like 2-3 pages of feature list)

Very well said Qpaque! I bet eauction now wishes that he hadn't advertised here =)

Unfortunately there are so many companies out there offering the same kind of services, someone is bound to use them, without realising how they could be getting a much better service from somewhere else.

Nowadays, it's generally a silly thing to pay for something as almost everything (with paid-for products being the exception) you could get for free or very close to that.

I do not think he researched on ComptutingHost and Trap7 properly for if he had then he would have never advertised here. I agree with Jimmy too, many people do get fooled by these kind of companies but there is hope for there is more awareness about sites like the above.

Why should a person pay to get "restrictions" when he can get something more for free or even at a lower price. This is just a gimmick to make the company look very professional and get some customers. They sugar coat the flaws with "free", "low prices", "great features" but in the end it is the same service like any other company.
