| | Well, you are probably using MSN, listening to music and surfing in Internet, but, stop; back in the early 20 century that was impossible, and today doing that tasks are realy simple and common.
So if you think that this is over you are wrong.
For me:
Computers will reduce their size and increase the power, so people can have computers installed in their brains, also "desktop" computers will use sun light for working, also the components will be organic (alive) being possible for self growing.
Transport wll be based on Internet, so you can scan a image of you and travel by packets of info to the destination.
Also Internet will be aviable from anywhere in Earth and in the outer space.
Now its your turn, tell me how can be the technology in the future, a really near one. |

i heard that some new computers are going to be light based as light travels fastere thus getting faster speeds of like 300 ghz or something stupid like that, maybe just maybe this is possible and the technology is being researched by all the big companys, so that would be good and this would make some of the thigns you talked about possible! and that would be great, any wyas good luck with this thread and i hope it goes well nice job!

I dont know about the future, but right now, the computers are pretty small and advanced and hard to catch-up with! For example, I have a Watch Computer (PDA) that has the PalmOS in it... that's pretty hi-tech enough for me But, I think in the future they'll have computers embedded in humans and its going to be pretty messed up!

fly RC planes or jets? Years ago, I did some storm chasing and spotting, and have always loved
tornados. With all the storms in the middle USA now a days I have had some crazy thoughts of mixing
chasing and Radio Controled air planes. I have searched all over the net, and still are to find

The future of web browsers (2) It's about time I post this one, I've been using SpaceTime for a while now. Website:
http://spacetime.com/ Make sure you watch the introduction video on the index page. It really
explains it really well. A little f.a.q What is SpaceTime? SpaceTime is a web browser which is
in 3-d. Crazy? Thats what I originally thought, but I got using it and I really liked it. I still
use firefox though, but due to the features of SpaceTime I use it for searching websites and images.
What are the features of SpaceTime? The most efficient feature is the 3d searching. ....
Psychic Dreams
Seeing the future (10) Dreaming The Future Many people believe that dreams are a warning of whats to come. I am one
of these people. I believe that dreams are a sign, if you can interpret them correctly, you can know
what to expect. I didn't used to be a believer, but strange things have happened to me, in the
last 2 years or so, that have totally changed my opinion. Many people probably won't believe
me on this, but I'm going to tell you a 100% true story about a dream I had, and what heppened.

inkjet printer that prints thousands of pages per minute and ink that retains its shine even when
exposed to extreme elements. HP's water-based Latex Ink is specially formulated to embed in a
surface and become part of a media print, said Stephen Nigro, senior vice president of HP's
graphics and imaging business. HP's Latex Ink can withstand snow and rain and is useful for
large-format media used on billboards and outdoor signs. The company also launched the....

reach the next solar system that has alien life on it. When it all goes wrong and we have to save
our planet from destruction from aliens. You are sent out to stop them on lots of missions to

Have You Heard Of Microsoft Surface?
New Technology (10) QUOTE Overview: Surface is essentially a Windows Vista PC tucked inside a table, topped
with a 30-inch reflective surface in a clear acrylic frame. Prices will reportedly be $5,000 to
$10,000 per unit. However Microsoft said it expects prices to drop enough to make consumer
versions feasible in 3 to 5 years. Surface is a 30-inch (76 cm) display in a table-like form
factor, 22 inches (56 cm) high, 21 inches (53 cm) deep, and 42 inches (107 cm) wide. The Surface
tabletop is acrylic, and its interior frame is powder-coated steel. The software platform r....

The Decline Of The Western Civilization!
A view of the future... (17) I was having an argument with a friend of mine a few days ago on the fact that all the Western
civilizations are on a slow, but steady decline. Not necessary economical decline, but a far more
important and with far greater consequences cultural and moral decay which in time will inevitable
lead to the downfall of the Western hegemony. I strongly believe in this theory. I consider its
outcome not a question of if, but a question of when. You may call me a pessimist, you may think I
see only the part of the glass that is empty, but we all see the signs. I believe the West....

The Marvels Of Technology
Smaller Device, Lots of Space (2) The marvels of technology surprise me to this day. Like my new MP3 player for example. It's a 1
gig, and it's smaller than my index finger. Or my newest phone, is like half the size of my old
one, with a camera, more features, and four times as much space for downloads. iPods are mildly
annoying in their marvel. They're tiny, but hold so many songs. Like the iPod nano, which holds
1, 2, 4 or 8 gigs depending on the generation. The marvels of technology amaze me. It makes me feel
old not just to remember cassette tapes, but to own a cassette player and cassett....
Computers And Their Future In Our Future
(8) Computers and their Future in Our Future What kind of role do you think computers will play in the
future of the world? I know that computers are already implemented in allot of today’s technologies
like our cars, airplanes, school databases and more. But what else do you think computers will be
involved in? I think that in the future, computers will be implemented allot more into the daily
lives of everybody. I mean this because the information highway is growing in great numbers! And
since the information super highway is growing, I think that the use of the de....
Blu-ray
News and considerations about this new technology (23) Here it is, the new BLU-RAY disc, the next generation of optical media that should replace DVD's
on the market. Some movies are already being sold at DVD and BLU-RAY format, although prices here
in Europe still are around 300€ to 500€ for a table BLUE-RAY reader, more or less the same a DVD
player costed when it arrived at the market. Some laptops are coming with BLUE-RAY too although they
cost around the same amount. I would like to hear your opinion about this new technology and for
those who don't know it yet here I post a link for your information: BLU-R....

Anti-crash Technology

Heard Of Oled?
latest visual technology (13) Hey guys have you heard about OLED? Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) technology An OLED is
an electronic device made by placing a series of organic thin films between two conductors. When
electrical current is applied, a bright light is emitted. This process is called
electrophosphorescence. Even with the layered system, these systems are very thin, usually less than
500 nm (0.5 thousandths of a millimeter). When used to produce displays, OLED technology
produces self-luminous displays that do not require backlighting. These properties result in thin,

Cars Of The Future
What will they look like, and be like? (20) As we know cars have evolved hugely since the beginning of the time, and we are seeing bigger and
bigger debates about the enviroment factors and there look and feel. Here are a few ways in which
they may imporve, what do you think? Building cheaper and better cars, by building atom by atom...

ultimately less expensive — by building materials one atom at a time. Nanotechnology, which
involves working at a scale more than 1,000 times smaller than the width of a human hair, is ab....
About Using Two Graphics Cards
SLI Technology (3) Now, i'm new to this program, i've just replied once and that was in the games section with
quake 3. if you've been there, you'll know that i'm a computer and a games freak. If ya
wanna know something or are just have trouble and need help with anything got to do with computers,
hardware, software, games and game consoles, you've come to the right guy. Now when you put 2
graphics cards in your motherboard, you only get to use 1. It is impossible to use 2. When you
install the software and the drivers for the cards, you must pick which one to use.....
New Technology To Be Implanted To Human Body
computer and Human body to be merged (36) I have read in the news paper, a local news here in the philippines that during the convention at
singapore, Bill Gates says "New technology soon to be implanted in the human body, but I will not
try this experimentation in myself.." Is it possible the somebody is working to implant computer in
the human body? Wow,,, very interesting, but do you think this will help us? if the computer is
inside our body, what does the computer do? maybe instead of using our mind the computer will think
for you... ha ha ha... that will makes us a robot... If this will happen, if bill g....
Ipv4 Vs. Ipv6
IPV6 the future. (10) Another article I did to compare IPV4 and IPV6. Ipv4 vs. Ipv6 Ipv4 is the fourth version of
Internet protocol, but the first one to be widely deployed. It uses a 32 bit addressing and allows
for 4,294,967,296 unique addresses. Ipv4 has four different class types, the class types are A, B,
C, and D. An example of Ipv4 is 207. 142. 131. 235. The ipv4 uses a subnet mask because of the large
numbers of computers used today. The subnet mask helps reduce the number of unique IP given to
companies, corporations and so on. An example of a subnet mask is a company. A arch....
Use Of Technology In High School
(53) I really despise high school students that can learn real computer skills in their school; part
because my school's computer program is crap. Anybody can use the computer better than the
computer teacher, and most of us don't even get a computer class. The result? Half of my
classmates doesn't know how to use Excel or Powerpoint. Most of them hardly know what Photoshop
is. Technology is progressing at a really high rate, and it is becoming a big part of our lives.
You're basically disabled if you can't use a computer. So why doesn't high school ....
Sony's Patent On Apparent "matrix-like Technology"
(14) Sony patents 'real life Matrix' Obviously the news report has been hyped up to a large
extent, but this patenting is ridiculous. QUOTE The patent - based only on a theory, not on
any invention... I mean, how the hell can you patent a theory...? Does that mean I could go
off and make a patent on something currently in development and yet not fully developed and have
exclusive rights to the technology or what? And does that mean they have exclusive rights to that
technology? (I think so, but then, I'm not an expert in IP law) Anyway, this is ....
Google Pigeon Rank :)
Google's new technology, amazing :) (5) QUOTE The technology behind Google's great results As a Google user, you're familiar
with the speed and accuracy of a Google search. How exactly does Google manage to find the right
results for every query as quickly as it does? The heart of Google's search technology is
PigeonRank™, a system for ranking web pages developed by Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin
at Stanford University. PigeonRank System Building upon the breakthrough work of B. F. Skinner,
Page and Brin reasoned that low cost pigeon clusters (PCs) could be used to compute the re....
Technology
good or bad... (34) Do you think humans should keep getting more technologically advanced, or should we start using
less? You see what I'm saying? We kind of being controlled by machines, if you know what I mean,
and we should live much simpler. I mean, we shouldn't get rid of all technology. I guess this
post is ironic because I'm using a computer. but That's my opinion. post yours.

Future Os Concept
(17) it is my perception on future OS, just some random thoughts Internet already is a indispensible part
of computer and future OS will be focus on better using and serving Internet. nowadays most PC are
clients of the whole network, in the future, one important feature of OS will be making every PC a
client as well as server. for example, by default /my documents will be home directory of servers
like web server, ftp server or mail server, but by default everything is kept private but you can
make anything public by simply right-click the item. you can also encrpyt you publ....
