Ftp Trouble

Hey everyone,

I've been trying to connect to my FTP for the past 10 minutes but it keeps giving me the following error;

STATUS:> Connecting to ftp server ftp.ginger-ninja.net:21 (ip = 216.240.157.63)...
STATUS:> Socket connected. Waiting for welcome message...
ERROR:> Can't read from control socket. Socket error = #10054.
STATUS:> Waiting 30 seconds...

Any idea what's causing this?

Maybe your internet connection got disconnected somehow? My FTP's been giving me problems too, sometimes because of the internet connection, and other times, I don't know what ><

Socket errors are normally connection problems, or the FTP host address may be spelt incorrectly, or your firewall may be blocking it. As Pixieloo said, I imagine its a connection problem, thats the usual cause.
