I know your new here but if you want to have a good time on this forum please search the topics before making a new I know several topics have been made about it already.

Also that post is considered spam since it is a one liner. This forum looks for quality posting and not spam like post.

I agree, i tried to make a runescpae clan on that.. GOSH!!! No one was able to post but me and the space as you said was EXTREMALY SMALL. A cupple of posts and i am full.

If any one was to make a website i would recomand www.yahoo.com

I know that you have to pay for it but trust me it is worth it. I never had any problems with my domane and i never had one bill accept one for $65 but it was just if i wanted to upgrade my domane. Yahoo! is worth it and just for $2.45 for the first domane!!

Freewebs is well sorry to say.. crap compared to Yahoo!. Also when you buy Yahoo! you get a domane with a .com or .org or .net ending!

Dosn't get much better then that!

the irony of suggesting a webhost whilst on the forum for a fantastic free one!

IF you want webhosting try either here (posting required) or trap17.NET (no posting but small ad as i understand)

Because freewebs does suck, its only use is for basic HTML development, its ideal for those people who are learning html JS and CSS as its free and easy to set up and supports those languages but from a practical point of view its just a waste of time the space bandwidth and supported services is ridiculous! I dont like yahoo because Ive tried geocities and i hate that with a vengeance even though i know the paid hosting is far better than their silly free hosting i just hate the whole company in general.

Freewebs was my last host and I completely hated it. It was slow, my site got constantly clogged up with advertisements they'd put on there and there was so little space. And it just wasn't suitable for what I wanted to do (a fan fic archive). even the starter package on trap17.com is enough for me now! So much better!

the reason i left was because they said you can have a max of 15 pages, what a ripoff
ads, not very good servers for the scale they use them on
i guess it's ok gor noobs who need the site buildier (OMG NOOB)

Freewebs sucks, but they seem for some reason to have a huge amount of sites hosted. The site seems very slow and the download speed is appalling. Nothing compared to Trap17. I did have an account on Geo Cities at one point, and I have to say they were terrible as well, the adds were a pain, the bandwidth was terrible etc.
