After years of not practicing any html or graphic design I have finally made my return. I wasn't that great to start with because I was learning, but that's irrelevant now. Now I am a college student majoring once again in graphic design. Last time I never finished, because of circumstances, but now I am back. It was fun being able to chose web design as one of my classes. My final project got a score of 200 out of 200 possible points. I designed a website for my former youth group back in Ft. Myers, Florida. endtimearmy.bravenet.com It has been hosted on a free host, since they didn't have the money to pay for it, but all in all I thought it came out good. Ever since then I create a couple of websites, some paid jobs and some not. One of which is my own personal website www.adrian-rodriguez.net and the one I would like you guys to critique. I have only been doing this since November of 07. I started school in August of 07. So for a newbie at this, especially at CSS I would like your comments and thoughts on it. Wow! I like it, simple and clean, the colors are pleasing to the eye... Everything is so smooth! Well done! I've been doing HTML and other web related languages since I was ten, and I STILL can't do quite that good! Haha! Again, very nice!

As a graphic designer, your displaying a statement to your audiance (visitors). An design is more direct then the content and if mismatch content and design, you might lose visitors. Well... I'd say. Drop the gradients. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. I agree but it needs to have an Oompf. Something that stands out but in a subtle way it almost looks a whole. What im trying to tell you is that i hope you Incoperate the ideas, what your trying to say and person you are in your designs more. -- Good luck.

Very nice and clean. Absolutely love the mask you put over your name, very apple-like. The only drawback I would put is the lack of styling on your text. Times New Roman is hardly the font you want to use on a website, and images and links could also be customized to suit your site's theme as well. I am not a very good designer, I just can't translate the kind of creativity designers have in my work, I am more skilled in programming and coding, though I do a lot on websites, I just don't design them.

Your site looks simple and cool..... I hardly see anything that i wanna improve....... Personal taste differs........ I feel the dotten underlines in the right side panel are a bit off the purpose...... your top menu is cool..... Nice simple site overall...... I'm n00bie n00b in web designing, so i can't comment on codes as i don't know them.

Which is better Online or Offline Graphic Collections? (2) I just renewed my account with an online clip-art library ( http://www.clipart.com/en/ ). The
question I present: Is it better to use a clip art service online or to have a library on your hard
disk drive of your local computer (or on DVDs/CD-Roms)? I would rather pay an annual fee for
instant access to a large library of graphics than having to search out graphics from my Hard Disk
Drive or having to insert up to 30 CD-Roms trying to find a basket of strawberries. I am creating

Designer Dogs

Free Graphic Programs As Opposed To The Real Thing
(5) I am sure many of you have heard of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and their "FREE"
competition, The Gimp and Inkscape. Personally myself I love all Adobe Software, but can't
afford any of it. Anyone here use The Gimp or Inkscape and can they show some of there work from it.
I have just recently started using the two, although I design my websites with Adobe Photoshop, but
it's my fiances brother's Adobe Photoshop. So I just use it more than he does to get my work

Choosing A Graphic Card
(11) I'm interested in upgrading my graphic card (only months old) because it's too slow when I
play BF2. Currently I have a 256mb 64-bit GeForce 7100 GS. I want to get a 512mb GeForce card but
there's a 256mb card with a higher bit-count. I don't know the difference between RAM and
Bit. i want to be able to set all the graphic settings to high and still be able to play the game
smoothly. Which should I get, the one with higher bit or ram? And please tell me what each spec
does to the video card.....

Have you seen how much these folks make? (32) Ok, well i was looking around online for a job this evining, and i just happpened to look in the
computer section, and there was somthing for a graphics designer, and i asked to myself... hmm i
wonder how much graphics designers can make.. so i went to the page that showed how much they would
make... and i took a look at it and my jaw droped.... they can make from 45-70K witht hat
particular company... then i looked elsewhere and on the Freelance-writing.net they say you can
make between 100-150k a year!! my jaw dropped even more... because this was part time....
Tobisha Notebook Graphic Problem
(1) I just recently dug up one of my old notebook computers and found out that there is a known graphics
problem with the toshiba laptops. The monitor has a wavy and distorted picture to it and its very
hard to move the mouse around. The cursor will start to fade in and out and all of the moving
objects will be very blury. Now i understand that this is an old laptop and it may be suppose to
have a blury video output, but the mouse fading shouldnt be happening i thought. Until i read up
online that alot of the same models and even newer models are having this problem. It does....

Question Regarding Web Adress Graphic
How to add a Web Adress Graphic (8) You know on some websites (well alot these days), have little custom graphics next to the WebAdress
bar?. . . Not sure if it shows up ina ll browsers, but it defintly works in Opera as thats what im
using at the moment. Trap17 has one of these for example. Any help on how to change this/ add it
