NO ADS on your site! A good web host? I think it will be okay, I will make a test account and see. The thing I don't like it this- QUOTE 3 Databases Only three? I think they can improve, and 10gigs of Disk space? I bet thats a lie. I would rate this a 7/10, just like the other host I reviewed. At least this one gives you a subdomain!

Careful Imtay22. I have also got involved in other Free Hosting services offering large storage and bandwidths and the next thing you know, your access is cut off, files gone and never any explanation. Also, use a disposable email address. Your Spam box might take a beating from these guys selling your address or Spammers getting hold of your account because they don't secure the server properly. Best Free Hosting I have ever found is right here at the Trap17. But it might not hurt to check them out. Write a review back here sometime soon.

Yeah as I said I'm not really making a permenant account, just a test one to see how it goes. I will write a review here when I finish.

I've tried this service. But as a test, I only gave it a try for just a day. Here is my "experiment": Variables: Trap17.com, freehostingnow.com Constant: Discuz! Forum Software What I did was I uploaded the files to both servers and what I found out was that freehostingnow.com didn't allow most file types such as "css" "ini" and other necessities. On the flip side, Trap17 allowed most, if not, all the files. The reason why it wasn't able to upload some of the images was that during the file transfer the connection was lost and the file that tried to be transfered right after the reconnect didn't work. So in conclusion, if you are going to use CSS, it's better to stay here with trap17. unless you need 10gb then I recommend getting yourself a paid hosting.

omg...i have had so many bad experiences with such hosts...they offer too much...but its down half of the time, and its slow, as u can see...not many databases, and most of the time they place advertisements on your site without any notice, in the end, they end up closing down and disapearing overnight, one very big reason my forum comunity has lost so many members, because i wast expecting it, i didnt do backups that very often, so i ended up being screwed by those hosts, and i have learned my lesson, trap17 is the best, really good, kickass, and i dont have to worry about them dissapearing one day, cuzz they are a big company...lol

Hmmm, I wouldn't really trust them. They have an ad on their main page, which isn't very reassuring. Three databases is very piddly, I would have thought if they can offer 10gb of space that they would allow for a couple more databases. I would say after you sign up to their site your email will get loads of spam in it or they would just close down on you :/. I also think they have quite a few restrictions in their Terms Of Service. I'll see now  I wouldn't trust them myself, but it's up to you.

He's right: and besides losing connection all the time, it's very slow in upload and download... but that's not really a problem, since you can't upload large files due to connection loss. I agree, dump it.

Well I honestly don't know I am not so keen to check it out and check with actually creating user but I am certain that it is cool. That is mostly on the first appereance from the site it looks more then nicely done however. Yes there is always however. So, However they are usually unreliable they don't work well they are slow and as soon as you upload few mP3 files up there they stop working. So you see whether you like real thing like trap 17 which has reputation status and working service or you jsut prefer a lot of space for storage for let's say maximum one month time. Check out around this forum and you will find same responses everywhere.

Best Free Hosting I have ever found is right here at the Trap17. But it might not hurt to check them out. Write a review back here sometime soon. that is the truth i have tried many of them and have loose some data some will promise even what you will never imagine but at last you will see that what you saw is not what you will get in this worl anything you work for thats what you will get so in trap17 you will work by posting and they will keep their promises by ensuring that your informations are kept alive

Most free hosts suck. They truely do, trap17, in my opinion is the best free option out there, plus i think its even better then some paid hosts. Paid hosts sometimes suck thats why i thiknk they need like a 10 day refund if wanted. Most don't IPS (most people know it is invision power board) on the otherhand actually do give refunds.

Funny how we all flatter Trap17 here lol, why would we be here if it wasn't for the hosting in the first place Yeah there's too many "one month hosts" popping up and going, it sucks. Always check their site out really well, see their Terms ( TOS ), Copyright (if it says 2007 only it's quite new and that needs a precausion) etc. Also try checking their prices compared to the plans. (You KNOW that 100GB FTP and 0$ doesn't go well together, it's simple as that.) Many other ways, but it's getting pretty standard nowadays I suppose.
