| | hello people, i got a littol problem with internet conection configuration in freebsd. there is a router in dhcp with sharing all togehter 4 computers. i dont want freebsd to dhcp server but client and just simply want to connect. thks  |

I doubt that you'll get answer to your question that fast! Becasue Freebsd is not used by most of the people...either they use Windows or Linux...I'll hope that you get you answer pretty soon

i suggest making one of the computers the main source of the connection and then network config the other 3 to it.

The last couple days have been... interesting... (as in the curse - may you live in interesting
times). One of our PCs keeps loosing the network. Internet works fine, I can ping the router,
server, other PC's, DNS servers, websites, etc., AOL (Hissss) works fine, IE too. But it
can't see the domain or any server shares. It could Wed., but not Thurs or today. Unattach and
reattach cables, repair connections, reboot, reassign to the domain, etc., all to no avail. Also
tried both DHCP and manual addressing. System Restore to Wed AM's restore point and its fine...
