you can get free ubuntu linux cds i think you can get upto 20 free before they start asking questions. They provide them free on the condition you distribute them free but a mate of mine sells them lol. They take about 6 weeks for delivery but thats free as well so you cant complain, sorry if you already know about it because it is quite popular.
EDIT: my bad delete this post its already up here somewhere, sorry people. |

You know Ubuntu is really cool OS. I am a pretty new to linux, but I lke the idea of free software. ubuntu goes even further by sending you CDs for free so you can share it with friends. I really do not like the idea of selling a free stuff received from someone trusting you. Yes thay have trusted your friend and he is using given goods in wrong way. Tell your friend not to do this. How would you fill If your friend asked you to help hm cutting grass around the hose and than it will turn out that it was his neighbor's house and he collected some money for it?

i tried ubunto once, i think its great for beginners but i didn't like it because im so experienced with kde, windowmaker and console interfaces. Plus all ubuntu is is linux with loads of stuff taken out to make it easier.

ubuntu is okay. atleast they give away free cd's. But it's always been free..so if you have broadband, save yourself time and just download it.
