Even Trap17 is not really free, it requires an investment of time on your behalf, fortunately this is not a monetary cost for most people. The fact this company asks for very sesnitive personal information is the first thing that sets alarm bells ringing. If you were intending to use this SSL for credit card transactions, your customers could also be at risk. For something that could pose such a potential risk to your customers, I would never consider using a free service. The moral of this story is: If something looks to good to be true, it probably isn't true. |
