Here it is the best php editor that i've ever seen in the all www. But why? Well guys, this php editor has so many, many, many options for editing/creating php pages, scripts, that i'm only going to mention some, so, here they are:
- Supports this languages: PHP, HTML, XHTML, CSS, Java,Perl, JavaScript, VB, C#, Java & SQL - ToDo manager - Debug with PHP interpreter - Project manager - Insert PHP functions with parameter hint - HTML dialogs/wizards - Insert common PHP functions/procedures - External tools support - Class Browser - File browser - Bracket highlight support - Task manager - AutoClose Brackets - Snippet support - AutoIndent Brackets - FTP support - Bracket highlight support - File format (Windows/Dos, Unix, Mac) - Integrated function search in the PHP manual - Nice and elegant XP interface - Run and preview your PHP script internal - Choose between 18 different themes - Multi syntax (PHP/HTML/CSS/XML) - Customizable syntax coloring - Code libraries - Custom tags - Time and date functions
And even much more cull functions and tools.
Of course there are more php editors, but i beleave this is the best of them all, oh, and it's completely FREE.
I guess that you should try it, and then say something about it, ok?!
Notice from BuffaloHELP:
It's late but still post needs to be following the rule.
I used to code in Maguma Studio (http://maguma.com/Maguma_Studio.502.0.html) which I used in the last 2 years. It's fast, flexible, it has nice functions and you don't need a supercomputer to use it while it has decent system requirements: - Windows 98, 2000, ME, NT or XP (3.1 or 95 are not supported) - 150 MB space on your Hard Disk (Including swap file usage) - 32 MB Ram or More Recommended - 300 Mhz CPU or More recommended However PHP Designer 2005, which you mentioned here is absolutely A W E S O M E and I'm pretty sure I'll start using it! Thanks alot for sharing this dude!
This is awesom i was look for something like this...i dont much are for dream weaver, and i havent tried frontpage but this is what i need a simple text editor with a preview....yay perfect
I have some stupid problems with PHP Designer 2005 maybe one of you could help me with.
I am using it since today because I am testing my PHP scripts on my webserver... Uploading my new files with SmartFTP after I edit a file costs to much time and PHP Designers has a build in FTP client... my problem however is...
well PHP Designer 2005 is fine but can you say what's it's counter part in linux. I have heard about one IDE name anjuta IDE please let me know if u have any idea about IDEs in linux.
If you want to upload your files created or not with php designer, you can see the ftp button in the task panels at the left side of the program, but maybe you don't see it because it's hidden, you have to click the button to scrool to the right where you see the "ftp" button and snippets, templates and project manager.
Or, just go to view-->panels-->ftp to go right ahead to the ftp panel where you can add the ftp details to be alble to login and transfer your files.
When you click ftp, you just fill up with the server details and click add site, and then click login.
If you want to upload a file created with another program, just click file, open, and then go to the ftp panel.
Thanks man, i will definatly be using it when i am going to get better in php (knows a little allready from a friend). Good that you share this program with us , Problety going to be used of manny here that dosnt got to much money to buy things that costs much.
acumentech, I'me not understanding the question. what exactly is ide? But i'm almost sure i don't know cause i'm really not into unix's systems.
IDE stands for Intergrated Development Enviroment. That type of program usually includes an editor, a compiler, and usually some other built in utilities. One example is Microsoft Visual Studio (not for linux, [urll]http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio[/url]).
vitrus, if it's not as i said, i don't know how to help you.
Personally i've never do that, but try this:
open - file - ftp panel - login - upload
If this doesn't work, sorry my friend, use an ftp client as i do, cause we'll have more work but we'll do things better, more accurate, with more functions to choose from that with the ftp of the php designer you don't have.

If anyone here is running linux, then I know of a great free WYSIWYG HTML editor. It does have some
of it's difficulties, like closing sometimes without asking to or whatever, but it is definately
worth looking at. Just take a peek at http://www.nvu.com/index.php and check it out!....

Hi! I think nearly everyone dealing with databases wants to have a good editor for it. I've
just found "Squirrel" and I think it's really worth a try. It supports a lot of kinds of
databases (for example FrontBase, HSQLDB, jDTS, MySQL, Oracle,..................). It also is
relatively easy to use and very clearly arranged. For those who want to have a close look at it,
visit: Squirrel . Squirrel is also platform independent! For a quick start with MySQL: -unpack
the program with java -jar "filename" -Start the program -check whether in "drivers" there is a ma....

A free image editor called The GIMP is free but I think it is too confusing but still good.
QUOTE The GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software
for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many
operating systems, in many languages. The image editor will work on Windows and Linux, don't
know if Mac will. I don't use it, but I thought this would be helpful for other so they can use
The GIMP if they didn't know about it. Enjoy.....
So once again a weekend has past and I have not had the chance to post as much as I wanted too.
Last weekend I was distracted by Megaman X8 so I wrote a review of it. Several people responded to
my review so I thought I would review my distraction this weekend, a freeware paint program called
paint.net. Now I am moderately computer savvy. I know my way around word, excel, and front page,
but I’ve never been taught how to use photo shop or other similar programs. I’m a poor college
student and to be honest most of the software on my PC is either freeware or…eh..hem…w....
Earlier I found a site for designing ads that I thought I would show you. The site is Ad Designer .
They let you design your own banner ads for free. The ads are pretty good quality. Why not check it
out and tell me what you think?....
This program allows you to edit source files. QUOTE Software Publisher's Description From
