I hear a lot of people saying, "AH!!! GO TO FREEIPOD.COM/?=whatever AND GET A FREE IPOD!! ITS REAL!!" But what are the chances of me believing them? I mean, a $200+ peice of hardware for free? Is doesnt seem possible. Yet, I've seen many people on different forums talking about how they got their iPods, and they post pictures and everything. (take note that when I say iPod, I mean any of the free stuff you can get online). So obviously, it can be done... But what are the chances of it happening? Apparently, to do it, you need to A) Sign-up for the actual site, and then B) sign up for a sponsor and do whatever for a week-month, and then C) get 5 more people to do the same. For someone my age (15), this just can't be done, because of the sponsor part. So without a credit card, I can't get an iPod? Is there any way I would be able to do this sort of offer without a credit card? I doubt my parents would be to fond of giving me their credit card number so I can chance getting an iPod. So for someone in my situation, what would I be able to do?

People such as Kevin Rose, Sarah Lane, and Alex Albrecht all have gotten free ipods. Those people also get insane hits to their site, and they're quite popular because they are or used to be on television, so they can pretty much get their visitors to do anything for them. I'm not sure about the credit card, but if you convince your parents that you will handle all charges, then I'm pretty sure that they will allow you to borrow their credit card.

I don't think so, because in this world, no such things is given for free... remember that... like what you said a $200 piece of metal with design on it can be given away as in give away.... how crazy to hear that words... Many website said that they will be given free items, but mind you... it is not given it for free.. you must do something and spend your time clicking and clicking on their adds and links.... before you get that free things they will earn first, and you,, maybe to do but the quit sure... Its up to you,,, ''coz me I don't have experience getting things for free over the net.. unless I hack some credit card number and purchased online.. he he he.... thats more realiable...

I don't know about the FREE iPod deals on websites, but this year (and the year before that) a couple of companies have launched campaigns in which you could win an iPod or an iPod mini by buying more of their beverages. There's even a campaign going on in which you could win a Walkman Stick. Of course, it's not exactl FREE free - you still have to buy the drinks and/or rip the stickers off of the plastic bottles...but if you drink it on a regular basis anyway than it may be worth trying for.

I don't believe in such things... How can they just give you free stuffs without themselves earning profits? Bound to be of some footnotes and "secret" hideouts for you to pay little by little and in the end sum up to be a large amount where you can use that amount to buy an IPOD at probably a higher price since they have to earn... I used to believe these but I was spammed by such "ads" from these "companies" and yet still have to pay for something for getting that "FREE stuff".. Imagine someone say you will get a 3-storey bungalow for free, yeah for FREE, if you can just signup an application or something.. and yeah for FREE as stated and revised again... Later you find your email getting spammed and bills coming in to ask for payments by paypals, visa, whatever payment methods for your application... Crap manz... Nothing on the Internet can deliver free products... except for services like free email and webhosting like trap17... but not products.. definately.. If you can find and manage to get something, a product like IPOD, for free without paying a single cent, tell me...! I'm glad to know..

I used to believe these but I was spammed by such "ads" from these "companies" and yet still have to pay for something for getting that "FREE stuff".. freeipods.com is probably the only legitimate site for free ipods because it works. News websites have also commended it. The reason why most are skeptical about is that they cannot get anybody to sign up under them and complete an offer. Anyways, the reason why freeipods.com is "free" is because of the offers. The company, gratisnetworks, gets money from different companies when other people successfully completes an offer. Read its FAQs or something if you don't believe me. I mean, if these companies just gave out ipods without making their members complete offers, then yes, it wouldn't be true, but since freeipods.com is actually making money from different companies, they can afford to give out $200 metal boxes.

Most of my friends at Friendster have tried joining those Free iPods blah blah blah at the internet, I just don't know if anyone of them recieved their FREE iPods. hehehe but i have heard a friend who said that he was disapponted because he has passed the minimum amount of referrals only to find out it is available only for United States residents. hahahah they kept on posting their referall links at every Forum as much as possible. And my Friendster bulletin was flooded with everybody's posts to join the Free iPod thing thru their link.

Thay could always easly put those pictures there (Have you ever heard of fishing?), but I guess its possible that you could get one, but just not for free, if you want to get spammed to and get junk mail that is.

Yea it is for real. www.freeipods.com It is proven by cnn and bbc news i think its says on top corner i forgot but pretty sure it has those two. Its true as long as you follow what they tell you to do. You basically participate in one offer and affilate a few friends but some aren't required. So do that and you get the ipod or TV or w/e your going for. But i can gaurantee they will give you it as long as you co operate and do what they want you to do. I mean you can sign up for a credit card and then just go from there. You dont techinally pay but hey it would be worth doing all that for an IPOD which cost alot of money.

Wait until there's an offer in your spam e-mail box and hope it's real and not a virus.

I always avoid deals like giving out free ipods, cellphones, jewelry, and whatever. It's not that I think they're scams (because I have heard of people who actually got something out of the deals), but it's highly likely that you have to complete some kind of service before you can get your free gift. And just having to go through registration forms and whatnot is too tedious of a task for me to even bother with. (But I was tempted once by an offer that gave out free Louis Vuitton handbags... heh XD)
