Garbage, you could read a tutorial about it, just use google to find it, and using tcp optimizer is very easy, just test different values and that is it.

WINDOWS 98!!!??!!?!! Dude dont ever get a broadband connection for 98, its like a free invitation to give out personal info. You seriously need to upgrade. As for accelerators, Ive never heard of them, might give it a try.

Things are not so bad if you got all the service packs...And it's not personal info he has to be afraid of...Win98 is like cheese with all these security holes...

I didn't feel any changes so I unintalled them all and my life is pretty the same.

$40 dollars amonth. What. my satelite providers only charge About 10 dolalrs a month for my dsl cable modem. I didnt get the fastest internet, but my internet is still sooooooooooooooooooo fastttttt. I also was like you crud2008. I also sported a 52kpb internet connection, but I changed my my ways when I saw an ad on the t.v about dsl only being 10 dollars a month being for the first year and then after thst it would only cost me about 14 or15 bucks. You must live in the moutnains or something because 40 bucks a month is way too much for anybody to charge for cable or dsl. The only down side about the Dsl modem that I recieved was that you had to install it yourself which took me quite a while to do so. I also had to call suppot many times just for them to help me with my troubles. If I wouldn't have installed it myslef I would of had to pay over 280.95 just for them to install it. Anyway, I don't get why it would cost soo much. Save up your money and maybe that you will be able to afford it someday!

P.S. Are you bundeled up. If you pay for telephone cable and dsl you can get all 3 for only 75 dollars a month which is a good deal.
