| | I know there's a lot of image hosting services out there, especially those meant for sharing picture albums. But if you're just looking to hotlink images for your site or share a few pics with others, xs.to is probably the best solution.
The image size limit is 1.5MB and all image file types are supported. You don't have to sign up or anything; just upload the file and you'll be given links you can post in forums or directly hotlink to. But if you want to keep track of your files, a User ID is provided so you can always login to your automatically created account.
I find this service extremely reliable and convenient. The images are hosted on linux servers, so they load really quickly. And I've yet to experience a dowtime with xs.to.

What's wrong with imageshack? Two questions, does xs.to allow .swf file types? Also, how long will your file stay on their server? Imageshack has a rule that your file will be deleted after it has been inactive for a year....

I really like the lack of an inactivity rule, so I might to decide to host some of my pictures there. Thanks for the link!

hmmm i might have to look into image file hosting but i sitll got enough juice left in my account, and whos knows after i get rich i won't have to worry. hosting images on here is ok it makes it convient but after doing a few hundred sigs like me and johnny are doing your losing space and some bw but im not worried about that yet until i run out of room.

Have I mentioned that I've literally became addicted to ImageShack now? I even based off my whole site on ImageShack (since it has a ton of images up for loading) >_< ImageShack provides lots of really convenient upload functions too! I was reading off their site's FAQ (http://reg.imageshack.us/content.php?page=faq), and here're some tidbits I found: QUOTE ImageShack allows each image 100 megabytes of transfer per hour. If an image exceeds this amount, it will be rendered inaccessible.
QUOTE ImageShack's front page can be reached 100% of the time, while each individual image has an average uptime of 99.79%. Interesting... I wish other image hosting sites would post out their system uptimes like this.

I really you Image Shack most of the time for it is good and free. The only thing i hate about it is it takes some IMG off after a whille on there which i get so made at for doing to it... But anyway Inage Shack is what I use and i like using it.
