i know there are lots of free forums over the internet such as invisionfree, phpbb and mybb but is there a way to get a free copy of vBulletin i dont want anyoens just wandering if there is a way.

Also is there a way that you can make your own forums in dreamweaver, frontpage etc?

Naw Sorry, VBulliten Doesn't Have Free Forums I Think You Can Download A Trial But Its Only For About 5 Days.

And I'm Not Sure ABout The Second Question.

I heard that there was but you need to know real good php. It would be a bit easier just to make it for your site but if you wanna spread it over the internet it would be difficult.

Vbulletin is one of the best forums, but it isn't free.

yeah i wanna get one and probably will stick with mybb or phpbb i dont know which is better?

I say the best free forums are Invision Free that is free. Phpbb2 is also one of the best two. Anyway i do know you can make forums off of something. I am postitive. I also think out of all forums that cost and don't cost money i say Invision Power Board is the best for it is easy and simple to use.

So out of my opionon Invision Free is the best free message board or forum.

phpBB2 can incorporate practically any facility that you'd want on the forums - provided you have the time and energy to go through the process of installing modifications. The good thing is that you have a basic setup and you can add exactly those that you want, the bad thing is that this can sometimes be a long-drawn, risky process (and sometimes - although rarely - a given MOD may not be compatible with another, and lead to trouble). However, the official site has a very good support system, and in case you get into serious trouble, you can even contact the MOD authors

I think IPB is nice as well, but I go for phpBB simply because I've been too used to it to change now, and I always have a soft corner for software that is produced under the gpl license, i.e., freeware with no strings attached

You can get a vBulletin for free, but it's not license and you'll be using illegal stuff... I'll recommend you go for a phpbb as phpbb is highly focus on and many modification and hacks are coded for it...

IF isnt that good as its very inflexible as you cannot have access to the files...

If you want to make your own forum you have to be very good and experience in php and mysql.. And all those forums like IPB, vBulletin, phpbb etc are not out in just a day... It takes years of building to have this kind of standard and I think you can only start out in building a normal ones...

Invision (which is what you see here) and phpbb are among the best free forum services around. Before I found these two, I signed up for Runboard at one time almost two years ago.
