And I think I agree. Especially if you can find a place like trap17, where phpBB is pre installed for you, and you have access to SQL databases and php support, I don't see why you would want to get hosted externally.

Two more free forum hosts: http://www.miumu.com/ and http://www.invisionfree.com

miumu has a banner ad at the bottom and invision free has text ads.

The Innovision forums are really great... Only that is bad is that you have only 16MB if you are using their free forum hosting, but it works great i can say...

I think they look pretty cool.

i tried those ready made forums from fantastico ya cant add stuff to them no ftp and ya get alot of ads if they let ya do mod to them then would be ok hence IPB is with your own hosting with no banners i have free host and full control but the SQL is in safe mode so cant use IPB boards bummer

IPB Free

IPB free is better than any other IPB forum host. It's simplicity of use just beats the rest.

Invisionfree

Invisionfree is currently the most famous IPB forum host on the web yet.. But it is more harder to use.

PhpBB Hoting:-

Well there are many and some are already listed above my post. So i wont post any. Just search on google and you will come up with quite a handful

Overall i will choose neither. I will go with the AEF forum. It is free ( So that's a plus point against IPB )

It looks more better than IPB and PhpBB ( so plus point for both. Their website can be found here

Stick with invision plus, it is the easyest i think. i tired that and i didnt like it to much. invision plus is just simple and easy to use.
