That is a pack that merely changes the look and feel of XP; its not Vista itself. Vista is far too flashy with not much speed and versatility. Personally, I'm not very impressed by bright colors and transparency; when I use my computer, its usually not to watch the pretty graphics of...the os, but to run programs and get things done. With its incredibly slow speed, high system requirements, and poorly thought out security system, I find it highly inefficient and unnecessarily cumbersome to do things that are actually useful. Microsoft thinks its some kind of art contest, and that is one of their major mistakes.

I installed vista with the same computer that I run windows xp with, and I compared clean installs and to my surprise windows vista was faster..... well actually it was the same thing, a difference in speed wasnt really noticable. I only say vista is faster because it runs and the same speed that xp runs or maybe a little bit slower but for everything it has such as the graphics and effects, the little preview of the windows, etc.. It is worth it. It runs smoothly with all the new things.

i found this mask on the internet that keeps it as XP but it has the look of Vista without the annoyoing screw ups and high security. It works great.

I would also rather wait 2 years before buying it, just like I did with xp, that is reason why I have never complained about xp. When I got it it has worked fine, I havent even had to format my pc!

All these transformation packs don't come even close to the real thing. I have used them and all they are a compilation of applications which change your theme, the way your folders look and the logon screens. They however definitely improve the visual appeal of Windows Xp albeit at the cost of slower stat ups and shutdowns.... Yeah like Vista

All this stuff people say about Vista being absolute s**t is, well...bullsh*t.

I used to have Vista on my pc, but the only problem i had was game compatability issues. Everything else wroked fine, if not better than on XP.
My system is:

Processor: AMD Sempron™ Processor 3000+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.8GHz
Memory: 512MB RAM
Hard Drive: 203 GB
Video Card: ALL-IN-WONDER 9800 SERIES

Anyone who likes vista but wont run it because of RAM issues, you should get a flash stick and plug it in. Vista has a built in thingy to use flash drives as RAM.

Soon as i get a new HDD im going back to Vista.

I personaly Have bought Vista And My machine has 2 ghz Procceser and a GeForce 7600 GS with ! gb of ram and vista uses up about 8 - 20% Cpu usage idle With out the task manger on

Actually, this transofrmation pack actually makes xp lose some files, especially when you tried to uninstall it, it wont work probably sometimes whenyou boot, so if you dont wanna mess up your xp, dont install it.
