personally i think blogger is one of the best free blogs becasue i found it so simple to use, and they dont force you to places ads on your blog and also allow you to use AdSense, as well as having several great articles to help you with promoting your blog and other useful things

what baout news scripts like cute news and fusion? dont they count because theyre like a blog but instead for you site. you type up news in a similar way, youo just sing in and type.

A blog is just a diary that is hosted somewhere on the web. Once you log into whichever site you choose, you make entries, hit "post", and then the entries can be viewed when you go to your diary link (in which anyone can view, unless you make it private). A more detailed explanation about how the website works is usually featured on the website itself.
