Its because trap17 has a certain bandwidth limit which having such huge files at trap17 for downloads will eats up the whole bandwidth quickly and thus having file hosting at some other sites is more prefered and I'm sure trap17 will think the same too...

Yep, rapidshare is a good site. I've never used it, but I have downloaded stuff from it. The only thing I don't like is that you have to wait if you want to download a file, but if you come at a certain time called Happy Hour, there is no waiting time.

Ye I know this one too but never tryed becouse I can't find what max file size can be and how long they are hosting my file and this reasom makes me not depend on them.

I really love Rapidshare because of the unlimited space. Me and my friends use it to compress movies, whenever we want to watch them somewhere else.
It is a really good program. I also use this program when I am installing a new windows. All my files are compressed and stored on the web, and downloaded after the installation. I recommend this program for everyone.
Eh, I think we all know about Rapidshare, but thanks anyways sader. One thing I should point out is that Rapidshare does have 'download limits'. Once you go over the alloted bandwidth (which easily occurs if you're download large files), you can't download a file from Rapidshare until 1 hour later... or something like that... ;;

Is there some kind of file transfer utility that can be used within the intranet for file
transfers..? We have so much need for such an utility here in my work place.... The problem with
what we are using is very big... we are basically using skype in my workplace and the problem with
that is it happens with the internet... So whenever i transfer files via skype it occupies the
bandwidth.... which is very bad since we have a limited bandwidth connection. So... What i require
is a utility where the transfer happens within the network and not via the internet. So... if ....

Recently i found a cool script, a free script which you can use to start your own file uploading and
sharing service, which you can also make it free or for people to pay for, or even both. The
script is made with php, it doesn't work with databases in mysql, only with txt databases, i
mean, you do not need to create and configure too many files. You just need to download the
script, which is less then 1 MB, then extract it, then open the read me text file, and finally, you
just need to configure a file named config.php which is really very easy, then upload all ....

Spread-It is a great, no nonsense file host. I've been looking extensively at free file hosts
and most are up to 100 mb or something along those lines. The bigger ones for some reason are
usually Japanese, but this a totally free, no registration file host for anything up to 500 mb. The
