| | I am wondering if it is possible to have a frameset with frames on the top, left and right of the main content. The frames would all be non scrollable except for the 'main content' (center frame). The problem i am having is that when the 'main content' needs to scroll, it places the scroll bar between the 'main content' frame and the 'right frame'. I need the scrollbar to be at the right of the 'right frame' so that the 'right frame' is not visually apart from the 'main content' frame. Is it possible to somehow position the scrollbar for the 'main content' frame to the right of the 'right frame'?

Yess it is and I actually tried it once. But I don't remember where I got it from. Try w3schools.com and tizag.com. They will show will show how to work frames. Also, I googled "HTML frames" and got a lot of websites on how to do frames as well. There is a way to change different attributes so as sone frames as scrollable and some that aren't. And then there is another attribute that makes a frame so much of the page like %. See? Hope I could be of some help.

I have never seen something like that, but if you say so it must be possible... But what are you using to code your html? A wysiwyg editor? Couse it would be a lot easier with something like dreamweaver, than to manually edit all the relevant html. Any way i would strongly suggest avoid using frames for your site, why dont you try server side includes? php is free and trap seven'teen suports it... I find frames are most of the times annoying, and not very useful with search engines, couse if a result sends you to a page conaining the term you searched, it wont be the frameset, but the page itself, so there wont be menu or top frame... I believe theres a javascript that finds out if a frameset is being used or not and redirects where necesary but i havent seen it... But i rather avoid them anyway...

Digital Photo Frames
(4) I've signed up for a nectar card as I'm moving right beside a Sainsburys. Whilst looking

Anyone know where i can find this? (9) Hello everyone! Now im working on a website and i need to know the average user scrolling
distance in either pixels, inches, pages, any measurement really. To clarify i want to know how

Jquery Help: Scrolling Images Vertically
(0) Hey, I found this cool site that I think uses jQuery (or possible to do with jQuery):

good news is that I have it working on Mozilla and Firefox. The bad news is that Internet Explorer 6
and 7 don't work. The problem with IE is that although it scrolls up and down, the images are

No Frames, But Still A Nice Menu?
(11) Hi, So apparently frames are not done anymore. The nice thing about frames was, that you could have
a nice menu, which was always positioned at the same spot. I am currently constructing a Joomla
page, as I am working on a website that has to be eddited by people that don't know too much

How to Make an Image Scroll With the Page (5) I'm trying to make my homepage look a little fancier and I've got a nice background image,

Need Help With Frames

Div Scrolling

(5) hi, i have a question about scroll bars for frames. i have two frames on my page and both have
scrolling set to "yes". it works like i want in IE; even if there is no need for a scroll bar there
is a faded out scroll bar that takes up the space. in fire fox and nestscape navigator there is no
faded scroll bar when there is no need for one. there's just an ugly white gap. is there a way
to make the scroll bar appear faded like it does in IE? or maybe there's a way to always

Forced frames script
(2) Does anyone know of a script that will make it so my page will not accidentally be loaded without
all of the frames?
For example: If someone is reffered to the page main.html which would be the
home page main frame by a search engine such as google, can I make it so that the browser will also
load the other navigation frame even though it was not requested?
This is to prevent someone from
being sent to my site by a search engine and not being able to navigate becasue the other frame
doesn't show.

(3) I don't often use frames and I am having a problem linking from page to page. I am using php.
I have a link with goes: result 1 In results.php I create my frames and use 'if' queries
to select a frameset depending on the variable passed in the link, so it goes: if ($_GET ) {
else ...and so on. My problem is this - when I use target="result1", a new window opens and loads
the page the way I want it, but I don't want a new window to open. If i put target="_self",
then the page loads in the same window, but the page 'results.php' ap....
