Ok i just download the trial version of flash from macromedia.com, and when i tryed to start it up(double-clicking the red Flash icon), my computer started loading and then it just stopped and flash never loaded. I am just wondering wut the problem is. I have windows 200. I thought that might be the problem but i checked the system requirements n it said 2000. So could some one help me with this problem?

hey, i got these templates but the banners have some other names on it and they are flahs, .fla
files so i don't have the program to edit them. i was wondering if somebody want to help me and

Hi everybody, I really want to get into flash and I was just wondering if anybody here knew of any
really good and really easy user friendly tutorial websites. I am a bit of a Photoshop junky so the
whole graphics thing is not new to me but I feel that I would get off to a much faster start with
flash with a bit of help from some experienced flash developers. From what I understand, flash is
actually pretty easy so it doesn't have to be the easiest site to understand and it would be
cool if it was also fairly comprehensive. I see tons of books and stuff available at....
Can anyone help me edit a flash banner that I downloaded.It came with a template that I downloaded
and I don't know how to fix it. I tried to edit it with a SWF editor but it was too time

Does anyone have a clue about how to add avi files to a flash site. I need to load them dynamically
and don't want to convert all the avi files to flv. It seems like such a pain. Why can't you
just load them dynamically like you would a jpg or swf file. round ....

I don't know if this would go in this section but its "somewhat" of a graphic. I have two
problems. First I want to my site where there is a nav bar at the top that is flash(.swf), which i
know how to make, but have it in a frame, so when you click on one of the links on it, it loads the
portion of the page outside the frame without affecting the framed section. ive been to
htmlgoodies.com and read it like a whole bunch of times, but i cannot seem to find exactly what im
looking for. i think i might be just misunderstanding. secondly does anyone know the code or ....

Slow Motion Movies in Flash 5+ Hey, I just figured out how to create slow motion in ActionScript.
Here's the scenario. You have a animation (frame by frame or tweened) that you want to let users
be able to view in slow motion. The simplest way to do this would be to add some ActionScript.
First, open your Flash movie that you want to create in slow-motion. Then select to Insert > New
Symbol... . For the name type something like "slowMotion" (this doesn't really matter much),
select the behavior "Movie Clip", and click "OK". Return to the scene without editing....
