Anyone play this? It's basically DDR except the songs are way faster and you play them with your fingers. There are two basic styles that people play, one with two fingers and the other with four...

Two indexes - can make it hard to do some of the faster songs, but when you're fast enough, you mostly get perfects.

Index/middle - makes it easier, except you'll get more goods-averages on the left and right arrows.

And since the up and down arrows are on top of each other, 4 finger can be a little akward to use. When I play, I arch my right index finger and lay my left one down almost totally flat. That prevents annoying collisions...Also, I angle my hands so only the fingernail areas are in the same row as those keys. When I play Stepmania (a downloadable variation of the game), I change the settings so I can press df,jk insteald of left,down,up,right, so my fingers don't get cramped.

I play this game, Its pretty fun when you get good enough to do some of the more difficult song. It definitly doesnt compare to the original Dance Dance Revolution game but for a free online game I think it. But what you said about the finger set up thing I dont agree with, Thats just personal experiance because I do the index/middle finger method and get mostly perfects. Its just about preference there really isnt a better way.

I played it and I personally did not like it for two reasons. I didn't like the ways the keys were set up. The arrow keys are the logical choice but it was harder to use than you may think. I also did not find any songs that I like. Even though dance dance revolution doesnt have many songs that I know, at least they were good ones. I'm sure some HUGE dance dance revolution fans would love this I personaly don't plan on getting into it anytime soon. Ill stick to regular DDR.

I have played and thought it was pretty good for a little flash game. But some of those levels can get very hard when you have to use your fingers. I was trying one of the harder levels and I could barly get any perfects. It really takes a while to get use to the movement and the flow of the game. But after that you should be fine with it.

The arrow keys are way to close together! I can barely get the double ones.

I totally agree with what you guys said. It is soooo much easier to use your middle/ index finger. I get like perfects on some pretty hard songs. Trust me anyone one who knows anything about the game plays like this. By the way go to flashflash revolution.Com to playyyyyy!

Look in the options and set the keys to w/e you want. Stop playing one handed and use 2 hands 4 fingers. ASKL or something that is comfortable. Its free, It has a HUGE community. I have nearly 28K games played on it. So stop being noobs, murk loar. Etc etc.

I used to own DDR on the Playstation one and Playstation two console and it was pretty enjoyable so I decided to try FFR (flash flash revolution) out. I thought it was actually pretty well done for a port to the flash format on the PC.

But yeah, like one of the posters said above me, it does get awkward on some of the harder double ones, as you have to turn your hand around to press the right key at the right time and on harder, faster speeds this can get extremely tedious and difficult.
