Hello, Searched through the forum but didn't find any hits on how to do this. I've designed
a page that has an embeded flash movie (*.swf format). The page works great when I test it on my
local server but when I post it on the net the movie (about 2 megs in size) takes a while to load.
Is there any way to stream the movie as opposed to have the browser download it all at once? Any
other suggestions to speed the loading of the page? Thanks in advance....

hello i'm new to flash. i have a .swf movie which i decompiled with Sothink SWF Decompiler in
.fla and I also exported the resources. so far so good, i entered the resources directory,i changed
the names and texts with my own and now I am wondering how do i rebuild the whole "resources"

Hey team, New to the forums and new to Flash. I'm trying to work out what script I need to use
in order to make a movie clip (a grey square if it matters) change alpha qualities when you roll the
mouse over it. I also want it to stop and fade back to it's original form when you move the
mouse off it. I've got it working just using a button symbol but when I take the mouse of it
just jumps straight back to the original form (ie. no 'fade out') and it also repeats

Hi, I have a problem with my USB flash drive. When I insert it to my computer it gets detected and
I get a drive letter for it. When I click the drive letter in Explorer it says 'Insert a medium

Ok, this game is hilarious! Interactive buddy! What you do is you have an Interactive buddy(the
bubble on your screen!). You get to "play" with him. Everytime you, tickle, punch, grab, WHATEVER

hi folks, im looking into starting flash and learning it etc....I have some experience from flash at
school where they had the flash suites. But i cant afford freaking£600 just for a computer program.
Its absolutely ridiculous. For that i could buy two laptops. What the hell. Macromedia has issues.

i installed FF3 (which works great) on my flash drive for testing perposes (web desighning). anyways
yesterday at school since i had time i went to the library to use it but i realise that my history
and bookmarks where not saved on the flash even though i imported (duh i know they're on my hard
drive). i'd like to know how can i put my history and favorites (or at least my favorites) on

Ok, well i bought this Flash Disk and it is basicly a portable memory stick that you can plug into
the USB Drives of computers, and i have stuff on there i want protectd, and i waswondering if anyone
