i installed FF3 (which works great) on my flash drive for testing perposes (web desighning). anyways
yesterday at school since i had time i went to the library to use it but i realise that my history

Its weird but sometimes when you hit the forums or roster button on my flash banner it will load:

well, i don' t have a site yet, but about 6 months ago i made a template, with flash buttons and
all, with sound and everything i was so proud so i tryed to put em on there with a special code u

Hi I need some help , Im designing this website for school studies However, I made a flash drop down
menu, works perfectly, but you know how flash has a background when you export it in to a SWF file?
For example my flash is width= 800, and height = 200 but my div box on my html page for my

hello. I am pretty new to flash. Just got Sothink SWF Decompiler 4.1 and Flash 8 and I would like
to edit a .swf movie. Of course, I used the Sothink SWF Decompiler to convert the .swf movie to .fla

Hi. Basically, the MovieClip(root) thing is dodgy at the best of times. Besides - it's not
recommended to use root at all. In fact, it's highly discouraged. I've seen plenty of posts
about this, but for the life of me, I can't find anything about what else I should use. What
alternative should I be using to access properties/mc's/etc from the root/parent time lines??

First of all, it is important that you make sure the image you wish to export is on a transparent
layer. The transparent layer is a checkered background in photoshop. You can see this checkered
background in the image to the left. In this example, I created a quick glass icon which has

Hello, Searched through the forum but didn't find any hits on how to do this. I've designed
a page that has an embeded flash movie (*.swf format). The page works great when I test it on my
local server but when I post it on the net the movie (about 2 megs in size) takes a while to load.
Is there any way to stream the movie as opposed to have the browser download it all at once? Any
other suggestions to speed the loading of the page? Thanks in advance....

Hi guys, I have a problem with one of my designs at the moment. Here's the problem: I have a
flash game in the middle of a page. However, the site navigation has dropdown menus that go on top
of the flash. Now, the navigation works if I use "wmode = transparent" or "wmode = opaque" in the

Hey all i have been playing this Bloody Penguin game where a penguin jumps off a cliff and you are a
yetti and you whack this penguin as far as you can. The idea is to get it to hit mines (bombs) that
