hey, thanks for the tutorial. Just tried on my firefox, it works superbly. A website which takes usually a while to load now loads in the matter of seconds, all thanks to this thread. I find firefox takes a long time to load when I first attempt to launch the application. Is this a known problem? I also experience it hogs the processor usage, although not too much compared to other applications. Thanks.

Wow, this is very useful, since I use Firefox and a 56K connection. Yay, I can finally surf faster! Plus, this is more useful than those cache-using software that has been said to boost speed. Good job! I wish I knew enough to tweak stuff too, hehe... Thank you soooo much, kashvet! I get surfing boost from my dial-up, YAY!

Firefox Hates Moveplayer
Help me save my crashing browser. (5) I have a serious problem on my main PC. Firefox refuses to open. It goes directly to the crash
report, listing the add-ons that failed on startup. I managed to launch it from the Run window into
Safe Mode, and again it crashed immediately, but this time only listed one add-on: MovePlayer. The
uninstall instructions I found require a Firefox capable of loading. I'm running Windows XP and
have no listing for Move in my Add/Remove Programs dialog. What's my next step?....
Firefox 3 - Lowest Memory Usage
(11) Mozilla Firefox development team is curently working on the third reincarnation of its browser,

they tested Firefox 3 beta 4, Firefox 2.0.0.12, Opero 9.5 beta, Internet Explorer 7, Internet

normal usage of a browser with opening and closing of sites. IE8 and Safari both crashed d....

Your Firefox Cache
Do you know where it is ? (3) You can access your FireFox cache files by typing this "about:cache?device=disk" into your FF URL
bar There is the cache directory will tell you the directory in which cache is stored, this is not
IE and you'll not be able to browse by going to that directory, because its in encrypted form.
If you want to browse your cache, you're in the page! The about:cache?device=disk is the
disk cache page! browse around in here. This is completely different to what is temporary
internet files in IE. Use the quick find function by pressing / (forward slash) an....

Internet Explorer 6.x More Secure Than Firefox 1.x In 2006

Security getting better? That is tough to say but Firefox is definitely not leading the way. Despite
all the hype, despite all the Myths, Firefox 1.x has a worse security record so far in 2006 than
Internet Explorer 6.x. The popular security site Secunia reports advisories that can include
multiple security vulnerabilities of a product. The most severe Firefox Secunia advisories tend to

Why Firefox 1.5 Is Broke
Possible Solution To Possible Problems (2) I realize the title makes this post seem more important than it really is, and Im sorry for that. I
was just reading an article ( okay, actually I just remembered an article I read ) by CNET or some
other fairly large news source that mentioned " ... Firefox 1.5 users being unable to visit certain
web pages, with no consistencies between the unviewable pages... " If you happen to be
experiancing this problem ( I experianced it too for about 5 pages until it clicked ), and you use
Firefox extensions, you might want to disable them sequentially to determine whether or ....

Firefox Vs. Internet Explorer
We get the picture (34) I am growing tired of how about 65% of threads that were originally started to express something
else entirely somehow wind up being a 'Why FireFox is so much better than Internet Explorer'
thread. Unless it has been specifically asked, no one particularly wants to know about which
browsers of the two you prefer to use, nor how FireFox contains some feature that is totally better
than what something else does - and believe it or not, using FireFox doesn't make you any better
or any more intelligent than someone who uses Internet Explorer (I use neither), and ....

Simple. By combining the best elements of its two leading rivals. Netscape is out with a test

drastic. I can either format my computer and start from scratch, or I can completely rid of computer
