| | The usually excellent Firefox is annoying me.
When ever I try & install a theme or add-on im greeted with:
'Software installation is currently disabled. Click Edit Options to enable it & try again'
So off I go to edit options, & nowhere is there 'enable software installation', ive looked through every menu on firefox & just cant find it.
Where am I going wrong? Its very annoying. |

I tried reinstalling netscape 1.5, & still had the same problem. Being clever, i tracked down a beta version of Netscape 2, installed that & my problem had disappeared. Unfortunatley, I now have another problem - being a beta, netscape 2 doesnt have any available themes or add-ons yet

bar There is the cache directory will tell you the directory in which cache is stored, this is not
IE and you'll not be able to browse by going to that directory, because its in encrypted form.
If you want to browse your cache, you're in the page! The about:cache?device=disk is the
disk cache page! browse around in here. This is completely different to what is temporary

onto my account only to finde that upon entering my account the useual panel for veiwing the whole
window of e-mail had gon rather messy as in where there were useually icons for the inbox and so-on
there were no more. further to the lack of navigation because to the missplaced icons i could not
reply to annyones e-mails so inturn to this i decided to swich to windows live to see if this would
fix the problem so i did and sure enough i could now reply to peopls e-mails but ....

Html Editors Seem 'persona Non Grata'.
Problems with running HTML editors. (2) It looks like my PC has something against HTML editors. I use Coffeecup HTML Editor 2007 and I also
have Dreamweaver CS. In both cases, when I am editing web pages, whenever I switch from one task to
another, eg. after editing do a save, or do a preview or whatever, both programs (Coffeecup even to
a bigger extend) stop responding for a good while, quite often 45 secs.- 1 min minimum. You can
imagine how much time that wastes during editing, not to mention the frustration it causes. My PC

Is It Possible To Run Two Copies Of Firefox On Different Settings?
(7) Hi everyone, this is hard to explain..Basically i use firefox for browsing and i like the way ive
got it set up, but now im ging into web development more i need the development addons for FF. The
problem is i dont want to have millions of addons on my normal FF browser as it gets clogged up in

ever I try and import a .xml file for my skin images, it dosent work. It dosent make the image files

Downloading In Mozilla Firefox

Having Problems Installing Apache2 On Linux
Any tux lovers to help me out? (2) I am installing Apache 2 on Ubuntu Linux 6.06 (downloaded appropriate binary), and have followed the
instructions from several places, including apach.org... I have got to the point where it says to
enter make , just after the ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache2 , where I also added
--enable-mods-shared=most , for the common options. That all went fine, took a little while, then
when it's done I am supposed to enter make , I presume to gather up all the newly created
files. This command just does not exist. returned bash error and it is not in the manual.....
