that's just how it is  it's a different browser so it doesn't read everything like IE or Opera

Why dont they just make a 'superbrowser' that could support absolutely everything? eg there are things that only work on IE, and others that only work on netscape.... But I suppose thats what they'd be expecting...

sorry, the above was written by me, Vacant (although i cant prove that!) Thats me forgetting to sign in again, and for guests there's no "edit" function... What I was going to say was that I have firefox and everything seems to be alright with me...but then i suppose most web designers *should* take into account none-supported attributes. Indubitably.

if only IE was updated more, and if only people only used IE!! then web designers wouldn't have to waste time making the web site compatible with so many browsers

That's a huge bummer bash... also the point I was trying to make. Since Microsoft is the standard, all of it's components are too. Hopefully one day you'll be freed from the nightmare, till then, remember, you're not alone.

Yeah IE has security issues. Firefox doesn't have all features like IE because those are safety hasards.

Firefox The Most Unstable Browser?
(10) Clicky It was interesting to read. We all know about the heavy memory usage that FF takes up, but
over 2 YEARS no one has made an attempt to fix it. Someone points out too that the bug isn't
limited to RAM, but the bug even bogs down the CPU. I suppose that this would be a real issue for
people with slower computers, but with high usage rates of the CPU just for browsing multiple tabs,
the life of the hardware is at stake. The reason why it's being stated as the most unstable
browser is that apparently with the high CPU usage Windows can't cope and crashe....

Whats Are The Dangers Of Using, Or Stealing Others Wifi
(4) I was just wondering what are the danger of using other people's WiFi and how do you prevent it
from happening? I pay for my own wireless service and many times i get disconnected (DSL Light
continuously blinks) and have trouble getting logged back on. On several occasions now, when bidding
on an item in an eBay auction is about to end, bids that i have made get out bid, and when i try to
rebid, i get disconnected and lose out on the item. Another time they usually happen is when i play
online poker and i get disconnected and timed out on a hand were i end up losing....
Ipb/firefox Problem
(6) This has me a bit stumped, when using either of my Firefox versions (1.5 & 2.2) in here now it
takes an age for the characters to appear when I type. I thought it may have been a plugin which
was affecting things, but most of my the plugins for 1.5 dont work with 2.2 yet, so it cant be
that as both versions have the same problem. I've cleared cache/cookies/clear all cookies set
by this board, restarted twice - once in safe mode, but its still the same. It only happens on
IPB forums, and only in the text entry box - not in the title/description boxes. ....
