Hi there Im having a nasty issue with accesing the forums when javscript is enabled in my browser,
both in IE6 and the latest FF, at the moment JS is off which is why im able to post this. Basically
when i access the forums the forums shw for a split secnd and then are replaced by a blank page with
a link saying "Click to show/hide »" with the url f that link being whatever page i wass trying to
get, with a hash, eg trap17.com/forums/# and if i click that link it just repeats with the forums
than this blank page. Any ideas what it is? I dont see how it could be my sid...

I had lost this site, then my friend had a hosted site on here and he gave me the link. I remembered
i had an account on here, so i logged in. Then i found out i was approved and i just made my

Can i install invision powerboard on my site? Well in pre-installed scripts? I think i was able to

Hey guys... I heard that the Invision Power Board was free till version 1.3.1 and then it went to
close source.I wonder if there is still some link from where i can download that free version ? And
if i find somehow and install it , will it be free forever ? or they will force to buy upgrade
package ? and is it legal to install that version now a days ?...

is this script ok to use? The way i understand it is that if you have the script (1.31) its ok to
use it for free but not to distribute it? Can someone clarify this for me as i have and would like
to use it but don't want to get into trouble or lose my hosting. Thanks in advance for any help

i just though that it would be good to setup a thread for people to say thanks to the admin adn mods
for helping with problems they have had, i am doing this me myself had a problem and the admin
sorted it very quickly and they where fantastic so it spurred me to say thank you for your fantastic
help and patientce. so here you can post your thanks to a certian admin or mod for their help to

i want to fetch some latest topics written on my ipb board , on the main page of website.i think it
is possible with rss feeds.. ( converting rss feeds to javascript)... i want to know , are there rss
feeds available for Invision power board..?? if no or its not possible , is there any other way to
fetch the fixed number of latest topics ..( say 5 latest topics) on the main page of website. ?...

I have Invision Power Board 1.3 setup files and I want to install on my hosting on trap17.It was an
open source on that time and it was free of cost.So i can install it and i hope it is not involving
any legal issues and no any moderator / server admin should have any problem.But just wanted to let

i am trying to install some mods to invision powerboard. This might seem like a really stupid

Ok.... before this goes into a illegal conversation... if your going to give me any links just PM
or e-mail me.... But otherwise than that I think I will have to buy IPB 2.1.4 inorder to
install it onto the Trap17 website. I noticed when I first got my site up and running it sayed that
I could get IPB where it said discussion boards, but then when I went to fantistico there was no

I'm going through alot of stuff right now at home. I havn't even been able to work n my

My! my!! my!!! my!!!! Just finished the installation of my
Invision Board Forum V2.0.3 and guess what is superb about this my board.....it has 125 preinstalled
mods in it. I mean, u dont need to install any further mods after installing this board cos all
the mods have been already preinstalled and all of them installs with the board as you are

How do you install mods for ipb 1.2 because everytime I try it comes up with a my sql error for

what is the password for the mysql database when you install invision power board from the site?...

Yesterday, Invision Power Board version 2 was installed on my site. I just created some forums for
it, but for some reason, no one can see them (Not even me). I logged onto the Admin part, and it
showed the forums. I was also getting PHP errors, but I'm not getting those anymore. I've
even checked, and re-checked the permission settings, and it's set right. I've also looked
all over the admin panel, and can't figure it out. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?...

I want to add some mods, but don't know not sure what to add. Can some of the more experienced
users share with me what mods you've added to your forum that'll be generally useful? For
one, I like the birthday one, i.e. it adds a birthday section to members' profiles and shows it
on the bottom of the index page when that date comes by Niels Chr. Denmark. Your recommendations?...
