I was just checking my forums again as I wanted to install some new mods and suddenly I found that it was hacked by SpyHackerz group... You can view it here :- http://www.snrulez.trap17.com/forum/
The first thing that came into my mind was to change my cPanel password but I can't even log in to my cPanel as I am getting the following error everytime I try to do so. Please Admins or anyone having any knowledge on how to solve this out please help me!

Well, I am deleting the whole folder as I don't want to have a forum so early as my site is not even in its first stages of development and I have just started creating content for my blog and my website. The deletion is currently in progress and I am using FileZilla FTP. I can't login into the cPanel through Firefox, Flock or IE. I am going to install Opera and see if I can log into my cPanel from there.
Your cpanel is not hacked. Gamma server is facing "/" directory disk full issue. That's the reason you cannot access your cPanel.
Try using FTP to modify directory/file that you desire.
Your forum probably was defaced because the older version of your forum opened for security exploit. It's been going around the whole net community, not just for Trap17. There's no need to be alarmed.
this is getting rather annoying, I believe we need to update the software thats being provided in the fantastico software. Or start making alert posts on the software that need to be patched and updated as well. It won't be to long til they get bored and hit us.
Fantastico usually list updates in WHM like new forum updates, help desk updates ect They just nee to be set to auto install iuf OpaQues not around. the forum could always have an rss feed from fantastico to an update forum.
Will i have to do something in order to have the cpanel back up (i have a message board, but its not run from anything provided in the cpanel, its another board type- and it is working perfectly fine)...or will i just have to wait, because there isnt anything i can do? I just dont want to be waiting, for it to be fixed, and then realize...i have to fix it myself, because that would be a lot of waiting for nothing.
looked all over and didnt find the setting.php file. But i found a file config_global.php. I checked it out and that was the file. Any idea what i have to do to that file.
sorry to bump this. But i really need some help with this. I found out that it was the config_global.php file. So i removed the code in it. But what do i add to the file to fix it so it will show my forum again. It is also saying there is an error in the mysql
It is in the main folder where your forum is placed. If you cant log in to CPanel tru using FTP and then copy the contents of Settings_bak.php to Settings.php .
Is it the admin settings? If not, under which folder is settings.php? Also, where would I find settings_bak.php to replace it with? Sorry if this sounds stupid, but i've never had my forum hacked before.
No need to do that reuploading stuff. I suffered from them too. Everything is just fine they have just edited the Settings.php in your forum that SMF leaves it at CHMOD 777. Replace the contents of it with Settings_bak.php . The page you see 'Hacked by SpyHackerz.......' is in the Settings.php .
And now i got it how they get through. We all leave the Settings.php CHMOD to 777 which can be accessed from a account on Trap17.com as there may be a bug with CPanel on restriction between accounts. Using that they just change the Settings.php . I am just assuming the bug.

here....i think i know the problem...but i cant find the solution.... I use windows XP SP 2 ...Asus
motherboard.. I use integrated Ethernet port (NVIDIA nforce controller) to connect to the hostel LAN
and used the same connection to get internet (using proxy). I played counter-strike without any
problem... Everything worked fine until i took a direct ADSL internet connection... So i installed
a separate ethernet card (INTEX rtl8139D) which i use to connect to the internet... So now i have
two LAN ports ...one for internet and one for LAN... The problem is...i cant con....

Does anyone know how to import .unl files into SQLServer 2000? My boss gave me this task to migrate
an old database into SQLServer. I don't have informix installed since the files were sent to me
via email. All files have .unl extension and I don't have a clue how to view them. I've
tried opening them using excel but it can't be read. Does anyone know how to do this? Or at
least know how to open/view the file using excel or any other program that could be easily migrated

I have a new ecs extreme motherboard with an apthlon 939 3000+ processor, with 512mb ram a new power
supply and new hardrrive. I have a 128m AGP video card from a good machine. All of the itemes I am
using have either come from a running system or have been tested in a working computer. My computer
will turn on and I can get to cmos setup or to boot from cd, however, after about 1-2 minutes the

I've downloaded Java Wireless Toolkit 2.2 and it has an emulator to run Java midlets without
creating a new project... But I couldn't get it to work when I open a *.jar file with it...
However, it could work when I run via from a project source... Is it suppose to work this way? How
can I make the emulator to run the *.jar file directly? Assuming the *.jar & *.jad files are on the
desktop.......
