| | Yesterday I bought the new EA Sports game: FIFA 2006. And I have a good time playing...  Nevertheless, I have problems with one of the best posibilities of FIFA game: playing online. I think EA must improve the online system, because we are a lot of people who bought the game to play online.
Do you think EA wants me to go back playing PES???  |

Interesting post. I cannot comment on the recent quality of ea's products as the most recent game i have is fifa 2004. I do have madden 2006 for psp, which isnt bad at all, considering the fact that it is one of the first sports games for psp that manages to get the job done. The online play is ok, sometimes takes a while to load the menus, but overall it is a fun experience.

I think the online play isn't too bad but the game makes up for all the bad parts of online play it is purely amazing

I played it, and its just what you expect from an EA footie game, looks very pretty, but plays poorly. I was playing on profecianal mode, my first ever match, kicked off, ran from half way and scored. PES5 is alot better.

I also played EA games online,its great but there is a problem for me that is i have low connection speed,so games hangs many times while playing.

FIFA2006,not bad,i have played it last week,only i disliked is the huge moives the game setup offered which take too many disk resource  .yah,like what all you said,EA online game supporting not very well.hope it goes well later playing on internet.

I bought this game on the day of its EU release, and i think it is a huge improvement on it's predecessor in all departments. The gameplay has been greatly enhanced to give the game a more realistic feel, with this sharper feel comes the improved first touch feature, which is obviously a positive factor. Despite this however, Fifa is still outperformed on gameplay by pro evolution soccer, and will continue to be unless EA have a major overhall with its gameplay system in Fifa. Despite Pro evolution soccer's superior gameplay, Fifa still has the edge over it's competition overall in my opinion. The sharper graphics, improved commentary provided by the freshness of clive tyldesley and andy gray, and the extra gaming features that make this year's version deeper than previous ones, all contribute to making Fifa 2006 the most realistic and fun football experience available.

i thought it was gonna be alot better. I got to say i was a little disapointed. It was a basic soccer game nothing to amazing about it. I hope next years version is alot better.

i got fifa 06 as well, everything is great, only thing i don't like is i think graphics can be done better..to me, they look a little blurry.. i think the 05 or the version before that one had better graphics. Anyways, it's really good playing it. i like the manager mode..where you coach a team and you can send scouts wherever you want to find playes.. one problem is that so far i havent been able to sign one player through the Transfering Period. i also like how they made that thing where you have to do things to unlock others.. that make the game more challenging and it doesn't get as boring.

a text editor (2) I downloaded this today, and although it looks like a really nice edeitor, i think I will be
sticking with the conText editor I ccurrently use. This one is lacking in the multi-file department
for creating Projects. Good feature set, though if you are thinking of up-grading to another editor.....
The Wicker Man (2006)
What a terrible movie (spoilers warning) (2) When I saw the previews of this movie, I thought it looked pretty good. I really wanted to see it in
the movie theaters. I never got that chance. But I did happen to watch it just the other day on
cable and I was so disappointed. Does anybody else think this was a terrible movie? It draws you in
and makes you like the main character(Nicholas Cage) and he appears to be the protagonist in this
film. However, once you are completely on his side the plot turns and he ends up betrayed by
everybody and ultimately dead. I was really disappointed with this movie. Also, it seems ....

believe this would have to be the best one so far. Much better then 06; better sound, gameplay,
graphics, and game modes, although i still believe it is not as good as pro evo. Nice manager
mode, which can span for 15 seasons. I love the player growth system, allowing you to purchase poor
players, who end up becoming superstars. Gameplay isn't that great. Seems asif the players are
running a little slow to me. When played in fast mode, players look asif they are lagging....

(0) I have bought a pirate copy of Fifa 07. When i donwloads patches for, they arent installed. It say

Smack Down Vs Raw 2006 (ps2)
(5) For what i've heard and seen this game isnt as good as the previous ones. The game is very much
alike the smack down vs raw just with a few extras.Also in this game there isnt many charecters.
After a few hours of play a got bored of it, dont know why though.If you are a wresling fan than you
should play this game maybe it will amuse you more than it amused me The graphics of this game
seems to have improved once again. Game play is as all just abit faster,the could of done better.
There are also a couple of new meter systems. The first is a new way to reward play....
U.s. Sales Charts For June 2006
(1) (these are sales for last month on all consoles...) The Nintendo DS Lite stormed into America in
June and along with the original model of the DS, sold almost 500k, more than the PlayStation 2 and
PSP combined. This put the DS a few hundred thousand ahead of the PSP, just as the PSP was getting
close to passing DS' total sales. If DS sales continue to be strong, Sony's handheld will

Vote ! (24) Well, IMO, PES is much better then FIFA. It is just more playable... Dunno, FIFA is kinda more made
to look better but not to be interesting to player... EA just can not make good game without bugs

Fifa 2006 (5) EA announced yesterday that FIFA 2006 will be comming onto the Playstation 2, Xbox and Gamecube at
the end of 2005. As this is the 10th aniversory of the FIFA games (as the first ever FIFA game was
back on the Playstation in 1995) people are speculating it to be the best football game ever. Pro
Evolution Soccer is currently getting a bigger fanbase everyday but FIFA isn't going to give up
the best footballing game design without a fight. I am still busy playing FIFA Street so news of
