| | I have Gmail, Yahoo!, and Bellsouth. Bellsouth sucks so much, but everyone I know sends me e-mail on that so I have to be content with it for now. I get a crap load of spam and viruses from Bellsouth too, but thankfully Bellsouth blocks the viruses. I'm slowly transitioning to Gmail. As for Yahoo!, I get a lot of spam from it too, but the spam folder is great. I use Yahoo! for sign-ups and such. I'm hoping Gmail will provide more security and such. Plus, I have ZoneAlarm which filters my spam mail out in my Outlook. Love it! |

I switched over to GMail a couple months ago and am very pleased. My specific reason for switching was because I wanted to use GMail as my spam filter. It works wonders and I get almost no spam these days. In addition since I've gotten used to labels instead of folders I can't really imagine going back. I have recently found some minor drawbacks, the biggest being a lack of lists for contacts. In general though I think GMail has really helped reign in the mess of emails I receive on a daily basis.

From the bunch of E-mail service Providers, I like the Rediffmail and the Gmail. I liked them because of their look, style and their speed. Its too good and easy to work on that. They too give a wide space.

I've used Yahoo! Mail for years now. Before that, I was a Hotmail user. I dumped Hotmail because the servers - back then, I mean - were down a lot. I'm sure that the service has improved since then (otherwise, they wouldn't have nearly as many users as they do now). But, Yahoo! Mail has been awesome for me, so I stick with them. I also use GMail, though. I received an invitation a while back and decided to give it a try, mostly out of curiosity. The service is pretty good. The extra features are really nice, but I don't really feel like changing my primary e-mail account to GMail.

what i'was ever used: google gmail. yahoo. hashmail. hotmail safe-mail.net i'm really hate hotmail, coz it's so slow. i'd like gmail,it's quick and multiple language, i'd like safe-mail.net best because when you login to with your username that will always be safe link SSL, https:// that will keep your privacy and keep your email safe!as they say on the index, that's for commecial bank service something like that.wowo~

Absolutly no way! The best e-mail service is for sure Gmail. Mainly for few reason: 1. It is faster. the page it self is a script that refresh and not differnts pages. for some reason this is making everything faster and clear. 2. no folder. for some one maybe it is better to have them but I think that is just an issue of getting used to. How many time I spent to think in wich folder to put a specific message, and how long time to find it after... with gmail no need I'm archiving all e-mail toogether, and to find it I simply use the search.. 3. the search. I think is the first one that have a serch engine for the e-mails. this is a very good way to find out an e-mail, specialy when I don't remember from whom or when the email have been sent but simply the main topic or even a part of it. for example I know that a frind of mine, sent me long time ago an emil, and into this was explainig me how to cook chiken. perfect it is sufficient to search for chiken.... and I find it! 4. Attachment, that are "attached" very fast and don't cause the gmail to spent few hours to send the email. Even more, if it s a big attachment, and the e-mail will take ex 7 min to be sent, then I don't have to wait it, I can continue to navigate into the inbox and other folders and gmail will send the e-mail anyway... FInaly I found that these are the main reasons, but there are a lot of... like the chat, the notifier and much more. 10x bye

Gmail is the best but how about providing with our own domain for free. Nobody is doing like that except Microsoft by Office Live. That too in Beta. Not attractive!!!

Rss
The Email killer? (5) With the release of IE7, and its built-in support for RSS, this just might be the coming of age for
RSS technology. RSS has been around for some time now. It has, however, found acceptance only in
tech-heavy circles. I've myself been using RSS for a year now - started with Google Ig, then
used Opera RSS reader, and lately have been using Netvibes for reading RSS. RSS holds obvious
advantages over email. The non-intrusive pull-mechanism, as opposed to the email push-mechanism,
makes RSS somewhat resistant to spam. Managing the feeds becomes easier since they are oft....
