| | Hi there! I've been looking into using one of the image gallery programs provided in cpanel - both Coppermine and Gallery look really good. Although many of the opinions out there are varied, I'd like to know which one would you recommend out of the two? Coppermine is widely available and has lot of skins, but what about Gallery (especially the new version that just came out)? |

well i use coppermine at the moment... and thats working for me... i think that one is the most user friendly.

I use coppermine photo gallery and I recommend you to use the same. Gallery looks good too but displaying option of the particular picture while viewing is not as satisfied as coppermine photo gallery. And when it comes to setting also coppermine gallery seems to be easier and userfriendly than gallery. I've tested gallery version 2 as well but still I prefer coppermine photogallery. Coppermine photogallery is widely used and very well integrated with most of the content management systems available today too.

I also recommend Coppermine, especially if you want to allow visitors/members to make comment on and rank entries in the gallery. The interface is easy for visitors to use while still giving you a fair amount of flexibility to configure the gallery the way you want it. I don't know much about Gallery, I know I tried it but that was quite a while ago. For flexibility in skins and integration in other content management systems, Coppermine comes out on top for me.

I actually prefer MiniGal. I just think it's easier than coppermine and personalizing it doesn't require you to tweak parts of the code. You can even download then install skins to suit your site's theme. I used to install both Gallery and Coppermine but I found that Gallery looks too simple and Coppermine a bit complex. I'm finding them hard to tweak/modify until I came across MiniGal. It's really nice, you only have to download it from the website and then upload it to your folder and then just change the settings to whatever you like. Minigal main websiteMy Gallery

Can't Login To Any Software On My Site
anyone know how to fix? (3) In a subdomain of my site I have an installation of MediaWiki, and until now it's been working
fine. But today I've been having trouble with it. Previously, whenever I logged into MediaWiki
it worked first time and I would stay logged in for about an hour, even without the "Remember Me"
option checked. But I tried logging in now, and after logging me in, the next page I went to showed
me as "not logged in". I cleared the cache as I know this has been a problem before, and then tried
logging in again, but it still said I was not logged in! So I tried one more ....
Gallery Not Working
(2) Alright, the Gallery module from Fantastico always used to work for my site. Now it's suddenly
stopped functioning and I can't even access the control panel for it. My Iframe page linking to

Fantastico And Cpanel Skin Problem.
(1) I changed my domain from tf2maps.trap17.com to fearclan.trap17.com recently, and when I did,
everything was working fine, except cpanel became really ugly with this rvblue skin that I
couldn't change, and fantastico and phpmyadmin weren't working. Can I get my skin changed
from rvblue to somethiong better, say the one I had before? I think it was called cpanel mod x3 or
something. The frontend for rvblue is my cpanel ip:2082/frontend/rvblue/index.html But the one I
want is my cpanel ip:2082//frontend/x3/index.html which says 404 not found. I really want tha....
Coppermine Gallery Error
(2) Okay.. so i have my gallery set up at photos.chantellepaige.org and everytime i try to access it i
get this error "Coppermine critical error: Unable to connect to database ! MySQL said: Access
denied for user 'giselle_copp1'@'localhost' (using password: YES)" how do i change

Can't Find My Fantastico Installation!
Where is the files I installed (2) Before anyone points it out, I searched this forum for similar topics and couldn't find any, I
checked the FAQ's and couldn't find any one of them that addresses my problem: I just
installed joomla in a sub directory (public_html/Joomla) and I wanted to change some stuff so I went
into my FTP program and connected to my account, I checked, doubled checked and triple checked all
the public html/FTP/WWW folders and I couldn't find the joomla installation, the site come up
fine in browser but I can't seem to find the directory of where it is located, t....
Problem With My Website Image
wont show no mater wat (7) Hi, I am currently redesigning my website. There is something which is really baffling me about a
particular image in the website. When viewed off line with either Internet Explorer 7, Opera v9.0.2,
Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.4 or Netscape Navigator 9.1b, everything works quite fine and there are no
missing images. Come to think of it that after I upload the pages to my website, I was astounded to
find out that some of the images simply refused to display despite uploading every single file and
folder in my offline website. I have gone back and cross-checked to make sure....
Is Fantastico Ever Coming Back
(4) I know people ask alot especially the last few months, but is it ever going to come back.. Yes its
better to upload and install all the programs directly from the sites and get the updated versions..
but fantastico was so easy especially when i used it to run a quick test site for certain things.

Error Using Fantastico!
(4) Well I've just registered a free hosting account today and first I had a problem logging into my
cPanel but it's okay now. And now after I logged into my cPanel, when I try to use fantastico I
get this error: QUOTE Not Found The server was not able to find the document

might also want to report this error to your webhost. cpaneld/11.2.2 Server at

Gallery Support...
(1) Ok, all morning (about 2 hours actually lol) ive been trying to set up a Coppermine Image Gallery on
my site. I tried to install but found out i needed some other thing installed first...not that it
made any difference when i installed it. I was hoping there was some kind of image gallery that
someone could point me to that i can install. As long as it isnt Gallery2 (search google if you dont
know what it is) and can use different themes. Thanks ....

CMS : Content Management Software (4) when i have people register into my phpnuke website they are sent a message throu email to activate
their account...well it doesnt seem to send. i dont know if we have to wait longer or its just
