| | I have found an interestening projet called Fabber. it works like a 3D printer with that you can create models that you have created previously on your pc - this could be a coffee cup or some chocolate elephant. its also possible that you can "print" your computer hardware just with you computer and sime affordable basic material fabber needs for modeling. it also supports modeling of different materials so you can create watches and more difficult stuff with it. its really amazing and usually the prices for thise machines go up to millions - this one is an open source project and the hardware costs about 2000 dollars. the tecnology needs to be improved, of course but its really something you can be sure that you will hear about in future. maybe those fabbers will be as common in future as GHZ compuuters are now homepage: http://www.fabathome.org |
