For almsot a year now I've been with easy rewards company trying to get anough points for an Ipod and many ther of the pretty cool products that they have to offer. I've haven't had a problem with it but my next door neighbor has. He had accumulated almost 3000 points(YEA AMAZING) over about a one to two year span. He finally was going to redeem his prize. three .com domain names was what he wanted to get, and i was with him all the way in to getting it as well. He redemmed it and waited for 72 hrs(THATS HOW MUCH THEY SAY IT TAKES FOR THEM TO REDEEM THE DOMAIN NAME) and nothing came up on his optimom or w/e regristrant name. He then waited 2 weeks and continued to contact EZYREWARDS. he then thought that it was okay if he wasted 1000 points because he still had about 2000 points left. So he then bought another domain .com domain for an additional 1000 points and again the exact same result that had occured the first time. He redeemed it, everything seemed okay he waited two week and again NOTHING!!!!! So then he continued to conaact them and nothing happened. So he then tried the 3rd time with his 1008 points and again he waited the 72 hours after redeeming it and even waited another day and still nothing and all he had left was 8 points. HE continued to contact ezyrewards and post in their forums when finally a spokesperson contacted him, said they regreted everything and said that they would put all the money redeemedinto his optimom account in 72 hours. He waited 72 hourse and guess what? There was money in his account but it was not 30 dollars, the amount that should have been in his account, it was about 2.25 enough to buy a .info domain. So my poor friend settled with that as well. This really discouraged me because I had been gainingpoints to get a .com domIN as well. I think I may just stick with a .info domain instead and not hassle to get a stupid .com domain name. My friend learned a valueable lesson! Not everything is free excrept TRAP17 and .info domains!! do anybody else have stories about ezyrewars screwing up or is this just an only case where ezyreards screws up?

Well, that is very unfortunate for your friend. EZ Rewards is notoriously bad about customer support. I have sent emails about various issues in the past and never got a reply but since I never had any major problems with my account, I didn't worry too much. It didn't cost me anything to place the banner on the Free Web Hosting Application form so I let it build credits for me.

It took more than 72 hours I think but I got my Optinom domain registrar voucher in less than a week.

I have enjoyed my new domain name without any problems.

HANDYPHP.COM is the free domain name I got!

Maybe I was lucky and managed to read all of the directions first so I didn't have any problems as a result but I think that if you have any problems with the process, you will have a very difficult time getting any support.

I was going to try that as well, but was wary of their service. I'm not going to now, because I don't trust free domains, and because of what you pointed out. I found a website that sells really cheap .com/.net/.info domains. They're $1.95 special, and after a year, it's $7.95. That's still pretty cheap, I think, because usually it's about $10. Anyways, the website is http://www.hostway.com/

I didn't have any trouble at all with EZY Rewards. It took me 3 to 4 days to get the 1000 credits and once I did I purchased the domain stexel.net and I recieved the email within the hour. I didn't have to wait any time at all. The email was sent to my spam account but that was it. I did this a month or two ago. Although I probably won't do it again because it's time consuming.
