I've been with www.ezyrewards.com now for almost eight months, and nothing has ever gone wrong that I've seen in this service. Let me explain what this service exactly is. You sign up at www.ezyrewards.com, and to earn points, you can do two things: 1. Sign up at advertisments, and earn a set amount of points for each one. 2. Refer people, and you get points for each advertisment that the other person signs up at. Once you get to 1000 points, you can register your free domain. I earned my 1000 points within four months, and it required almost none of my time. All I did was put a referal link on my site, and bam, I got points from when they fillled theirs out. I used my points for my domain (nuclaresuicide.com), and I'll be able to renew as soon as it's no longer available. Also, there's currently 100 free domain giveaway, you can read about it here.I've emailed the owner many times, and each time he was very helpful.

Hmm, can you renew your domain for free? If so, does it cost anything...such as points or money? I might consider signing up....

You can renew your domain with 1000 points. Your domain is transferable, and you can set the nameservers, too.

It is not actually free if you ask me. Completing offers wastes your time. The way I see it your time is valuable. So if you ask me this is not a good service.

This seems like a very good service, I was wondering when you say the domains are transferable does that mean they are registered under you're name? Because if they aren't how is the ability to transfer guranteed, if they are, well then ICANN recently changed the rules forcing provider to offer the ablitly to transfer.

I feel it wud waste a lot of ur time... coz getting 1000 points wud take a lot of time.. also the domains these days are not that costly to justify the worth of the amount of time that you put in... nyways.. there would always be people on both sides of the view.. Cheers.

i use that service, so far I easily gotten 500 points 0_o (which means I'm half way there! YAY!!). But it can get annoying to have to fill out all the offers, but since I've referred so many people, I don't really worry about it much

Its actually kind of easy to get points, most of the sign-ups.... don't require you to totally complete it to get the credits. One that I was doing, didn't like the address i put in, so I just skipped it but turned out I still got the credit I think it will be easy to get the points and worthwhile since I don't got a credit card to get a domain :\ Just one question though, does anyone know how many points you get for referrals? xJedix

Replying to xJedix You get the same number of points for all of the surveys that the people you refer get. So every time someone you referred gets 40 points, you get 40 points too. -reply by seven3000

I must say that I'm quite sceptical about this service. I haven't tested it but I think I won't. As some other people said it, I would rather buy my own domain because you have to renew it, so it's like doing the same thing over and over again. Anyway, for the time being, I don't bother about having a subdomain like here in trap17... Maybe once I'll go to paid services and buy a domain but for now I don't feel the need. But if people succeed in getting those free domains, I congratulate them .

I've used ezyrewards for about 2 years to buy/renew my domain name and it's been great. It doesn't take that long to fill out the offers (most don't require a credit card) and I got a couple referrals. Someone earlier asked about how much referrals give you. For each point your referral gets, you get it too. It's a 1:1 ratio. Basically, it rocks. QUOTE(FeedBacker @ Dec 31 2007, 08:44 AM) Your joking right!? it sounds like it took you a long time! I just done all the offers in about 25 mins. Waited till the next day, then it said I was up to I think it was about 500 points. Then I clicked my refferer link, signed up, WITH A DIFFERENT EMAIL ADDRESS, then I waited 24 hours, then on my first account I had 1000 and I had another account with 500 on it, this took me four days, and now I have my domain, so yah, it don't take long, it prob in totall took an hour I'm almost positive that's against their policy. They would like you to get real referrals. Though... maybe it isn't. It just seems like a dishonest thing to do and that I read it somewhere. If you just post the referral link on your website or forum somewhere, it isn't too hard to get a referral. Concerning actually getting the domain name, ezyrewards just gives you the exact credit you need at optinom to purchase a .com domain name. You could use that credit to buy whatever you wanted at optinom, it just makes sense for you to use it for a .com. That also explains if it's in your name. Whether you buy it with a credit card or with the credit that they give you from ezyrewards -- it's all the same. The actual process of buying the domain name is the same, you just already have the money needed to purchase it.

You could just buy a 7.99 domain from xidomains which includes free privacy Ive used ezyrewards, but once I got the points the dns never configured and they wouldnt answer my emails, so just go w/ xidomains.
