Reply Delivi I can help you with max payne google max payne rip kit and you should find a kit that has everything you need to rip the sounds/music from max payne, I have this prog and its awesome it used in a command line environment (DOS) Start> all programs> accessories> Command prompt copy the SOUND.DIR and SOUND.EMM files from the audio folder of the max payne DVD (PS2 only) put those 2 files in a folder along with the unzipped kit and then open a command prompt using the instructions mentioned earlier and you type mpex.Bat and let the prog do its magic I think it will extract the VAG files convert them to wav then mp3s and delete all the wavs and VAGs -reply by coondog1234

After the same is installed, you can search the program files folder of it for just mp3 of wav files. If that does not work, you can record it in game or google search "[game name here] sounds" and you're sure to find some around the web  good luck!

the simplest way si to turn the music really loud and record it with your recorder ex. mp3 player and others this works the best  no searching for programs and scratching your forehead another one is to find programs about that game there are usually progs like that some games have a music folder no head scratching again scratch

Extract music from the true crime series for PS2

Is there any way to extract the music and sound effects and stuff from a DATA.PAK file on the PS2 versions of the games true crime NY and LA? I really like some of the songs on these 2 games and I want to extract the sound effect like the gunshot sounds car noises and pedestrian dialogue etc. Is there any way to do this beside recording from the lineouts or but cube media player or game extractor b/c thise 2 programs don't work well CMP takes too long and Game extractor cuts off the footers from the audio files and when converting one with MFAudio the file keeps converting and wont stop even when the meter hits 100 it just keeps on going and I have to hard close it. So is there any other program out there I can use to extract these tunes? I want to rip them from the disc and not just download those songs b/c I love to rip songs from games I hear new music that way. -question by coondog1234

Replying to deliviI've been reading for a while about this. There is a folder in your PSP game for example called BGM and BGM_E, thats where all the audio is stored but like someone said you can't convert this to a decent format like mp3. So your best bet is to play the files from your psp and use a program like NERO WAVE, connect your psp to the microphone jack of your computer and copy the music using this method. You will get perfect quality, but it'll take a while.

Favorite Video Games Characters
From the old NES to the new Xbox360 and PS3 (1) I remember playing the old Zelda games on the NES system and Link was little more then a 8-bit dot
with big ears and a green hat. It really didnt have much of a story plot to it and the characters
weren't really in depth, but it was still fun to play. As the gaming world advanced, graphics
got better and game system held more memory. This gave me a new respect for gaming because Link had
a personally, life like and believable. Metal gear was also one of my favorites. In the old nes game
I really didn't care if I die, it was like "ok whatever Im dead" but in the P....

Splinter Cell Or Metal Gear Solid?
Two awsome games...but which is better? (25) Metal Gear Solid has been my all time favorite series of all time for so long...but recently I got
into Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory...and I must say, it was excellent I must say. The thing about
metal gear that got old to me were the terrible camera angles you get throughout the game...they
frustrate me so much. Also, you are very limited to what you can do in the MGS series also. Now
Splinter Cell is a different story. The camera angles are very good, and can even be adjusted to
accomodate you. The thing that gets me about Chaos Theory is how much you can do in the game....
