I was homeschooled, so there wasn't really any opportunity to skip *grins* But in college...well...I don't often skip classes. If I miss, it's because there's a good reason for it. I'm supposed to be in classes right now, for example, but I'm sick. I feel like dog poop AND I'm contagious, so it's just best to stay at home. I can still keep up with the classwork, so it's not the end of the world. I learn more, though, when I'm actually in class. When the profs are discussing the literature that we all read at home, I get a better idea of what's going on. And if I'm actually present in my math class, I can ask questions and actually see the prof work out the problem on the board or projector or whatever. There's something to be said for showing up, even when the prof IS really boring

I don't skip class usually, because I'm in a lot of really difficult classes and our school has a really strict skipping class policy. Your parents get called if you aren't present at even one class... However, I know the attendance lady pretty well and I can usually get off about twice a year, plus I can invent being sick and skip maybe a few more times a year... which is kinda funny, because I always come to school even when I'm super-incredibly sick, but, like I said, I skip occasionally, just to go out with friends and stuff... you know, when you just need a break.

I went to a private school, and they were really strict about students attending classes. I could skip P.E. by claiming menstrual pains, but that's about it. They would call your parents if you didn't show up to make sure you had an excuse, and they took roll at every class, so I didn't really get a chance to skip school. If I did fake being sick, which happened at least once each semester, I usually had to spend it at home typing up an essay or report that I had fallen behind on.

Well... I don't do that usually, but when is needed (like most said: because i'm sick or something) I do. But anyway I like that. After all (I got to say THANKS GOD!!) I'm pretty good in almost everything that requieres brain (like Math), so I usually don't got problems the next day...

My first time skipping class was my English class when I'm in my sophomore year. I remembered it because that was my last class attendance. I regret it, because from that time sometimes I skip my class and my inner self didn't give me anymore alert( what do we say... feel guilty?) So, if you haven't skipped any class, dont' do it kay?

I skipped class first time a few years ago. I went to a private school and they had me and a few other guys help out a teacher moving some stuff. Instead of going back for next class, we just stayed in the bathroom the entire time talking.

Ummm, I'm 16 years old and I skipped class when I was 13, but only because I thought it was fun and it'll make me more popular among my friends. I was highly stupid those days, I wouldn't think of anything other than to hang out with my friends (which made a very, very good use of me, to write their homeworks, to tell me to do something and then make fun of me, you guess how it goes). Because of those days I skipped school, I had serious trouble with my parents (but not with my teachers, because they were good ) and they urged me to leave those friends, and find new ones. I did that, but because my characther is asocial, it was hard for me to fit in a new friendlyness and I currently stopped going outside, partly stopped talking with my friends, I did only 1 homework for a friend 'till now, but it's because he doesn't have money/knowledge to make a paper about something - he must search the web, and he isn't capable of that. Let's get back to the point - I never skip school, 1 year ago in high-school I skipped only 1 day throught the whole year and only because I had to go somewhere. Skipping school is bad

Interestingly enough, I'm skipping class right now. I do have an excuse, though. I can barely move. I pulled two back muscles yesterday. Stupid hereditary bad back. Anyway, I don't usually skip class. I only ever skip when I need to finish a project for another, more important class. That's rare for me. Last year, though, I skipped too many classes. I had an 8:00 a.m. class that I missed a lot. Even when I was there and on-time, I would fall asleep in my chair. The class was boring and long, and I hated it anyway. I guess that's really no excuse, but it's all I've got. My advice: don't ever skip class. Also, don't sign up for classes before 9:00 a.m., no matter what you think you can handle. When you start college, you automatically lose about four hours of sleep every night. It just disappears. Seriously. And finally, pick a major you enjoy so the classes don't all suck. As for general classes, just focus on living through them.

I usually only skipped class if I couldn't get a homework assignment done that day. I was kinda afraid of teachers yelling at me. Sometimes they let me turn it in the next day. Also for senior ditch day. That was fun. <3

I've never skipped a single class when I was in School and in my College as a Fresher. Once I moved to the second year of my college, I started skipping classes. I'd go to the Lab or Library preparing for anything interesting rather than playing in the classroom on my Mobile. I used to participate in many extra-curricular activities so I had to skip many classes. But I seldom skip Maths or any Programming classes as I loved them Those were sweet days which I long for

A PHP data validation class with many functions (1) I've been reading through my old php book (PHP 4.1) and came across this data validation class.
It can check a number of things ranging from telephone numbers , credit card number formats, email
address and some others. I checked out some of the methods although I didnt expect it to work 100%
