This is what comes up when I click for my assistant. It seems to be an overlay of some kind and the text lines scroll on and on. This represents only the first thing that it says. As you can see it blocks my access to everything by my last 10 posts including the ability to close it down or move it. It only disappears when I change pages. Does anybody have a clue? |

It seems to work fine for me. It might have been a glitch. What browser are you using I just tried it using firefox and it seemed to work fine. That's a little wierd. Hopefully nothing is wrong and it was only temporary.

That comes up whenever a link in broken on Trap17's server. Try clearing your cache/cookies. And it should work. Sadly I've read all of that. It takes about 15 minutes, so you image I had a lot of time

It works fine for me using Opera, although it disappears if you drag it behind the shoutbox  Try right clicking it and refreshing it, normally that helps. I've also read through that whole 404 thing, I think it's meant to mimic Marvin (if I can remember the book right).

Thanks for the information, everybody. I am glad that somebody else besides me has gotten this result. I have found my problem since Tues night as well. I am using an accelerator program through my ISP that includes a pop-up blocker. Evidently it must break the link. This would explain the situation. I don't know how such things work. My previous pop-up blocker must have functioned in a different manner, because it doesn't cause the error scroll thingy to come up. Thusly, I have disabled the ISP blocker and gone back to my original one. THANKS AGAIN EVERYBODY!

Ips Driver Error
Warning messages! (2) Hello Trap17 dudes. Quite frequently I've came across a lot of IPS Driver Errors in the past 2
months. I'm just very curious and worried about the the forum. Sometimes I cannot connect
because of an IPS Driver Error, or IPB Warning error messages. A few moments ago it told me that
there was no shouts submitted to the shoutbox, then it said IPS Driver Error: MySQL failed to
connect to server. What is going on? I didn't have chance to get the error messages precisely

Awstats Not Working
Getting an error with awstats (1) Hey everyone, I just got the free web hosting and i've just been playing around with my site and
experimenting with certain things. There is one thing though so far that i havent been able to
figure out, and it seems that other people on the net have had the same problem. It has to do with
the Awstats statistic thing that came with the Cpanel. Whenever I click it it gives me this error
Error: Couldn't open config file "awstats.pointless.trap17.com.conf" nor "awstats.conf" after
searching in path ".,/home/ishan/tmp/awstats/,/etc/opt/awstats,/etc/awstats,/etc,/usr....
Problem With Uploading My Website
my be conection error, or ftp (10) i am using Absolute ftp client , but that i can not able to conect, i have tried a lot but no
responce, suggest me which ftp is good, and how i can upload my website. is that ftp id is

Transfering Credits [resolved]
error (6) When i try to transfer credits to BANK (for awardz and other stuff later) i get: Credits to
transfer : 5 Credits With 3% Tax : 5.15 You must have more than to transfer But i have 11 days
which mean about 11 credits O_o. Why do i get that error? am i not allowed to transfer credits when

I Could Not Request For Free Web Hosting
reporting an error, when tried to request for free web hosting (3) I could not send a request to host a new free web hosting, after accumulating enough credits from

Active Link Problem
(4) I've been working on a new website I'm putting together but ran into a problem. After
creating a header image for the site and getting that part set up I noticed a problem. The image
itself has a link to the home page but, since it links to itself it makes an ugly purple box around
it (active link). How do I get rid of this while maintaining the link? Is there a way to make it

Server Status Link Without Loggin Into Cpanel
(1) Is there a link page in Trap17.com or in Xisto.com to check the server status without logging in?
I'd need that to make a shortcut link from my homepage and probably in my signature to check the
server status on the spot and it'd save me time from logging into cPanel. Also, if the server
is down, cPanel would probably be down as well. Hence there's no other ways that I know of that
is able to check for server status. So is there an alternative way or link to that for public use?....

Web Hosting Account Error
(2) I am not sure if i am suposed to post this in this fourm so if I am wrong pleese exuse me. When i
am trying to register my site for web hosting it gives me this error and it sais somone is using
this website and I dont think that is true since the site is mine and I never registered it for

Uploading Error
(9) After I uploaded a large number of files to my host, I cannot get back those files. The sizes of the
files are correct, however, they became invalid file formats.. All the files are affected, except
