I once lost my e-mail account before. I was playing an online Yahoo game. Someone envited me to play a game with them, so they gave me a link that was NOT yahoo, but it looked exactly like a yahoo login directory. So (foolish me), I attempted to sign in, and it took me to a page on the REAL yahoo to choose from. I was not logged in anyhow. The person used my account to simply clean out my score and apply their points to their own. It was such a low attempt, and I was very dissapointed. My main concern was to gain my login back, and change my password.
IMPORTANT PART: Ever since then, I have been clicking on the "secure" encrypted login to be sure. The one I was using, had an encrypted option, but when I clicked it, it didn't work. *HINT* *HINt* QUOTE(daman @ Apr 22 2005, 04:09 AM) I have recently recived a Email from "PayPal", and is clearly visibel that its not them, Dont get Folled by fake Emails, One of the Emails I Recived is: When I recived the message GMail said: Warning: This message may not be from whom it claims to be. I got one of these once, except it was for something else, and what was realy pathetic is that it said that if I dont sign up they will take away my birthday
One way you can tell if its fake is that it USUALLY is mispelled here and there, or they say bogus things like I got.

Yea, you gotta hate that, don't you.
Unfortuneately, it's a fact of life that we have to deal with this things. I get alot of penis enlargement spam coming into my email. Most of it is taken care of by my email client (Mozilla Thunderbird), but there's some i still need to get rid of manually.
Yeah this should be mentioned more on the news and everywhere around the internet, because many poeple just give away their important info and someone than steals their money!
NEVER, i repeat NEVER SHOULD YOU SEND ANYTHING IMPORTANT with email....not a single company wishes you to send your personal info or something accross the net with email... BE CAREFUL!
