| | There are many threads for favourite email in this forum. So I don't want to start one more. I am talking about Email Clients for accessing our Email. My favourite is Incredimail which is free to use. Outlook Express is also good. I want to know which one is liked by others??? |

I use Outlook Express, I love it. It's the best in my opinion, Microsoft Outlook is okay, but it's got so much stuff on it that I don't need. I just want to check my mail lol, I don't want to schedule appointments and track expenses....

i use thunderbird, becuase i support open source software and just about anything the good people from mozilla make. its supposed to be more secure than outlook, but i really dont care about that. it just has a lot more features than outlook express and is easier to use.

Well, I am used to Outlook 2003. It is very stabel and secure. Does not open all the attachments unlike some previous versions. Many add ons are available, but not all are yet compat with 2003! Hope soon they will be!

I actually like 2 applications: Mozilla Thunderbird and Mail in Mac OSX Leopard. I used to use Thunderbird on my PC and Mail now that I am using a Mac. The interface is very easy to understand and use comfortably, and I like it that it is able to store my RSS Feeds, so whenever something new comes up, I would instantly know since the number of newly received unread mail is shown on my dock next to my Mail icon. However a big drawback about Mail is that it sometimes misunderstands the content of the email and presume it to be junk mail, not that it is a big issue but it gets irritating after a while when I have to keep flagging the email to be non-junk. Other than that, I love Mail a lot and will continue to use it.

My favorite would have to be mozilla thunderbird, it is lightweight, easy to use and not a hog on my resources. I've been using it since as long as i can remember and i've never had any problems

Hm..now that I use Mac Leopard, I use Mail, an application that comes with Leopard and it works very well with my gmail account. So I have pop3 enabled in my gmail, allowing me to download mail to my computer, which I like more, since all the movies, ppts and other stuff is already downloaded, allowing me to view it quick without waiting for the whole download process...

Mozilla Thunderbird is the best mini email client since it has an amazing spam filter built in and can do a ton of things very easily. It tends to run smoother and more friendly than outlook express in my opinion which is why i have been using it. IF you need a full scale email client, Outlook 2003 or 2007 is the way to go and definitely is way better than Lotus Notes

Best Messaging Client
(18) What do you think is the best messaging client? Right now, I must say Trillian, because it allows
multiple acount log ins at the same time. But it's only for windows, and I'm not sure if
there's a linux version...and I am about to switch to linux. So once I switch to linux, i'd
probably go for Gaim. Although it does not allow multiple accounts, it does allow IRC chatting. and
furthermore, it is open source ! there's a lot of room for improvement...but im not sure how
much active its community is. And although both Gaim and Trillian can be invited ....

Free E-mail Client With Blind Copy?
(3) I'm looking for e-mail software that enables sending mail to multiple recipients, but totally
blind (i.e. so none of the recipients can see anyone else's address) I know there are quite a

without downloading them all! Anyone have any useful tips please? Thanks, KK.....
Filesharing
Searching for a private filesharing client (5) Hey all, I'm looking for a small but simple tool, to exchange files with friends and family. I
know that all IM programs have built in file-sharing capability but that is not quite enough for me.
All I need is a little tool which would allow resumes and possibly secure (encrypted) transfers.
What I'm looking for is kind of like FTP but server and client in one program and very simple to
set up. For those of you who know what WASTE is, it comes pretty close but it would be good if it
also would allow unsecured transfer just for ease of use. I'd love to us....

Trillian 3.1 Basic Or Pro
Overview of Trillian IM client (11) Trillian an IM client that merges your existing Yahoo, MSN, AIM, ICQ, and IRC. I like it because it
frees up some space, other than having all 5 programs if you even use all five you have one and it
also uses less resources this way. You can use audio and video with it and it even can support a LAN
messenger for just the computers in your network. Nifty huh. Well you can CLICK HERE to find out
more and download it.....
Azureus (bit Torrent Client) Problem
(7) Hi everybody! I'm having some difficulties with my bit torrent client - Azureus. When I
download files (I usually download files larger than 400MB), the download stops at a random
percentage (but usually at the second half of the file)! 1st issue: I was downloading a 700MB file,
and by the time it got to 99.3%, the download speed hit zero. I was stuck in a "swarm" of other bit
torrent clients that have also downloaded 99.3% of the file, and nothing is happening!!! I left it
alone for about 4-5 hours, came back, and still 99.3%! I was so mad, I stopped the download ....
Aimfire Firefox Extension
Integrated AIM client in Firefox (4) http://aimfire.mozdev.org/ QUOTE Introducing AIMfire, an instant messaging program for the
fantastic Mozilla Firefox. AIMfire is like your usual instant messaging programs but it is small in
size, easy to use and in particular features something that other instant messaging clients
don't have: the power of Audioscrobbler built-in. So try it out and give it a spin! If
you're running a portable version of Firefox on a thumbdrive this is a great extension to have.

Bittorrent Client
What is your favorite BT client? (90) I use BitTornado because it's very reliable for me, although at times, the GUI seems to freeze,
and I get very mad when that happens because I leave the computer on for a long time, so when I get
back, I expect a finished download. I've also tried BitComet. I don't know if this is me,
but the torrent seems to take SO much longer to finish downloading than it does on BitTornado. If
you've experienced this, post below. Shareaza is another client that I've tried, but it
doesn't seem to handel torrents very well.....

Mozilla's Thunderbird, E-mail Client.
(1) I was wondering if anyone was using that insted of Outlook, I just downloaded and I like it a lot
better, but it has certain things that aren't good at all. Welll just wanted to know if anyone
else was using this program, and if you are, how do you set it up, so when you open it, you use a
password, I have to enter a password when I conecct to the server, but when I open it, no need for
password, so anyone that seats on the computer and opens Thunderbird can see all my old e-mail, not
new ones, for that it requires conecction to the main server and you need the passw....
