You can't be an elite gamer in all games. There are people who specalize in one game and practice constantly, and you will never be better than them if you try to be good at every game. The best you can do is be decent at everything, but great at nothing.
multiplayergames- good compiuter-mousepad, mouse, brain, teamplay.. and a time to spend playing it

I think the most importand thing is like m00f said, time, if you got alot of time to play those games you can improve your skills and become better, of course its impossible to become an elite player in all games, but you can be decent in some games, stink in others (
) and of course there will also be games you can be an elite player (cuz you maybee played it for like 10 years or something xD)
