| | I've been on eBay since 2001 & signed up for Paypal around the same time... fortunately no major problems except one time they locked my Paypal account for some unknown reason & requested I fax in identification, but after I did that, they unlocked it. About people who bid at the last minute, they're called snipers. But there are actually places where you can sign up, input the auctions you want to snipe & it does it automatically for you. I just sell every now and then--usually junk I find lying around and want to get rid of. |
), but even if i was old enough i wouldent. i don't like submitting too much personal info (and i've seen the ebay signups, ugh), plus i don't trust people too much 
I forgot to say what we sell. We made our big bucks on sporting goods--mostly exercise equipment, but also bicycles, skis, snowboards, etc. I don't recommend it unless you're as desperate as we were. Our profit margin was huge, but our workload was huger <grin>. Sometimes my poor husband would spend 3 hours cleaning and packaging those big, heavy things. We had almost no competition, however, because nobody else wanted to work that hard. It almost did us in, but eBay saved our family farm.
