Hey, I am using a program on my PC called 'EasyPHP'. I needed it to convert my board from one system to another, which I am still trying to do. In EasyPHP, everything seems to be on, Apache, MySQL, PHP, and PhpMyAdmin. The only issue is when I make my database via PhpMyAdmin and try to use that database, it says it couldn't connect. And I am wondering if anyone here has had any experience with this program and could help me out?

most likely your db permission settings are incorrect. correct db username AND
db password are required, so if you miss one, you get a db error. tweak your
configurations, that may solve your problem. good luck.

check if your C:\Program Files\easyPHP\mysql\data has any databases.

Use the PHP Control Center to access and create/delete databases. I had all sorts of problems with mysql on my system too, not letting me connect when i knew the passwords. Just use MysqlCC and things should work out. It can be downloaded at www.mysql.com
