| | Well I think that Dreamweaver is better (atleast for me). Dreamweaver is more professional than FrontPage, but FrontPage is more user-friendly and easier to use. But on the other hand, Dreamweaver is more efficient and has more scripts and stuff like that, and it has support towards other software that are also needed in designing/developing your website... I don't know, that's my own opinion, don't know about you  |

Dream Weaver is best of aal i like it so much ,,,,,,, specially when u are creating a php web page and site builder will help u to create a dynamic cool web site.. u see when creating s CSS page all properties got pop up when u write any selector and i think the best ever feuture of Dream Weaver hey what about the new version of dreamweaver

I use dreamweaver CS3 and photoshop cs3. Its great, and it's also cool how you can edit with photoshop with the button in CS3, so its really integrated. Dreamweaver is really fast for me too, it doesn't take long for things to open and such. Also, I love how it's so easy to upload!

Personally, I use macromedia dreamweaver 8:) I've tried loads of other programs that are great aswell but mac dreamweaver is my fav by far:)

Frontpage is the lowest of the low, I doesnt create valid XHTML, it adds it own HTML/JS when you dont want it to and half of the stuff it does could be achieved using Pure HTML/CSS. Your better off using Notepad than Frontpage, although I might aswell because I rarely touch Dreamweavers design view only to check it looks as it should.

Sofar everybody is using dreamweaver. Lets end that here ......I use frontpage 2003 (there is not much differents between frontpage and dreamweaver (except for the other macromedia programplugins)). The fact that dreamweaver is more user friendly then frontpage ..... well can't find that in frontpage 2003. I tryed both programs and frontpage 2003 is the one I choose to use(because frontpage takes about 10 sec to startup and dreamweaver takes about 1 min to startup. I do agree if you work with flash end other macromedia products that dreamweaver is probely better to use.

A (hopefully) Simple Dreamweaver Question

Dreamweaver, Front Page
(23) Hey guys I use dreamweaver to code my sites, I heard even though the "hardcore" people dont use it,
its at least better than front page. And what I was wondering is are there any website
building/helping tools or programs besides those two? I havent heard of any but I figured there

Cms Made Simple
A weird experience for this Mambo user (10) I came across yet another CMS called CMS Made Simple (I'll just call it CMSMS from here on). Of
course, it is free and open source, and it is very compact (its latest stable distribution is 1.89
MB zipped, Mambo's is a lot larger, like 8 or more MB proably). Any page loads quickly, and are
clutter free. Part of CMSMS's features are its templating system, which works pretty
differently. In Mambo, there are the index.php template, and its accompanying template_css.css
files. In CMSMS, there's the template (stored in the DB as far as I know), and a whole bun....

Dreamweaver's a good Webdesigning Studio (22) I recently downloaded Macromedia's Dreamweaver 8, and I can say that it is the greatest
webdesigner that the world has ever seen! The only problem is that it costs too much money in my
tastes, but otherwise it is perfect! Does anyone know of a webdesigning studio that does not
cost any money and that can be downloaded off the internet? I tried using Notepad++ (search Google,
I cannot recall the site) and it is a coder, but not a webdesign. It doesn't actually show you
what the site will end up looking like, but it shows you colour-coded codes for your sit....

Dreamweaver Permissions Issue
Access denied when trying to FTP (5) Okay, so I was trying to FTP these files over dreamweaver today... and it seemed to be working fine.
But then, certain files won't let me transfer from my hard drive to the internet, or the other
way around. It gives me this error message: QUOTE An FTP error occured - cannot put form1.html.
Access denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem. Anyway, I know
that the file does indeed exist. I've opened it on my hard-drive... and it is there. But it
