Someone has REALLY voted FOR Frontpage. That is an absolute bull.... software. A blackmark on the face of microsoft. Makes all rubbish coding that you have to later clean up using other programs.
Dreamweaver anyday.
Neat Outlay of all features, color coded script coding, VERY CLEAN CODING even when you use the design layout. Most of all, php preview.
No one can beat the DearmWeaver... It really is a dream weaver.
As another option, Adobe GoLive is also good, but haven't used it much, saw it in a friend's place.
I have also used HTML-kit. It is not a WYSIWYG editor but is an excellent coding software. When I am not using Dreanweaver, I am using HTML-kit... |

Frontpage is realy bad software.If vote for microsoft frontpage or macromedia dreamweaver, i choose dreamweaver... is realy professional tool... I use macromedia home site. It realy cool for creating sites with many pages.

DreamWeaver MX 2004 Only! YAY... Microsoft FrontPage is tool only for kids who want to produce their 1st website using WYSIWYG technology... I use Dreamweaver, I have never tried Frontpage but I have tried other similar software but they weren't as good or as user friendly as Dreamweaver. All the options and thing that you can do with dreamweaver like just breaking the layout by just dragging some things around and then just it is so easy to use, yo can create a pretty decent website in like five minutes, just insert, type something checnge some colors and without the necesity of typing a lot of scripts, like I said I've never used Frontpage so I can't say much about it...

Well if Dreamwaver and Front Page are web page creators, which I think they are, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Then it has to be notepad. There's nothing like the satisfaction of knowing you put the most effort you could into creating that page

Dreamweaver has given me the amount of satisfaction that no software has done. I have been able able to design sites in minutes because of it. It has great compatilbility with other software of its own like fireworks and flash, so its 100% easy to manuver between them. Even though there is a high price, i recommened it to anyone, even someont who just got into webdesign. J in the MB

I use Dreamweaver MX 2004, This is the only program i will use. Its the best you cant deny it, you know its true, come to the darkside, come on.

Dreamweaver MX is very good and its got almost everything you need to make a webpage but i dont know why i still use Frontpage i have only used Dreamweaver for certain things like when im editing PHP but when im working with HTML i think Frontpage is easier. But i like both its just Frontpage adds useless codes thats the only problem...

A (hopefully) Simple Dreamweaver Question

(23) Hey guys I use dreamweaver to code my sites, I heard even though the "hardcore" people dont use it,
its at least better than front page. And what I was wondering is are there any website
building/helping tools or programs besides those two? I havent heard of any but I figured there

Cms Made Simple
A weird experience for this Mambo user (10) I came across yet another CMS called CMS Made Simple (I'll just call it CMSMS from here on). Of
course, it is free and open source, and it is very compact (its latest stable distribution is 1.89
MB zipped, Mambo's is a lot larger, like 8 or more MB proably). Any page loads quickly, and are
clutter free. Part of CMSMS's features are its templating system, which works pretty
differently. In Mambo, there are the index.php template, and its accompanying template_css.css
files. In CMSMS, there's the template (stored in the DB as far as I know), and a whole bun....

Dreamweaver's a good Webdesigning Studio (22) I recently downloaded Macromedia's Dreamweaver 8, and I can say that it is the greatest
webdesigner that the world has ever seen! The only problem is that it costs too much money in my
tastes, but otherwise it is perfect! Does anyone know of a webdesigning studio that does not
cost any money and that can be downloaded off the internet? I tried using Notepad++ (search Google,
I cannot recall the site) and it is a coder, but not a webdesign. It doesn't actually show you
what the site will end up looking like, but it shows you colour-coded codes for your sit....

Dreamweaver Permissions Issue
Access denied when trying to FTP (5) Okay, so I was trying to FTP these files over dreamweaver today... and it seemed to be working fine.
But then, certain files won't let me transfer from my hard drive to the internet, or the other
way around. It gives me this error message: QUOTE An FTP error occured - cannot put form1.html.
Access denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem. Anyway, I know
that the file does indeed exist. I've opened it on my hard-drive... and it is there. But it
