er... my computer is only 600mhz PIII and nvidia g-force2 mx 400, and... whatever... it wont be able to run doom III, but i will buy it anyway

Doom games?! My god.. I played Doom I before a long time ago. It was very primative, and not very fun. Perhaps a new one will be better.

I AM in fact eagerly awaiting Half Life 2, which is said to play well on DX6 compatible hardware (though you won't get al the "goodies", ofcourse)

Doom isn't half the game HL was, though the first edition of Doom was no doubt groundbreaking.

2. play doom 3 - 276.06 hr back. (2)

   Which one do u like better? Those 2 are probably gonna b the 2 best fps of the year. IMO i like half
   life 2 only cuz im a counter strike fan, but thats just me.....

   dvd rom Maxtor HD Generic firewire card windows xp sp2 upgrade from sp1 With the 9600pro the game
   just crashes with out warning there are no errors i have tryed ATIs drivers, the latest 5.5, Omega
   drivers, turned the AGP to X4 turned smartwrite off , turned write combining off adjusted the bios
   accordingly, changed the AGP to CPU bridging to the via bridging .patched doom...

   Havn't been able to buy this game due to all the pre-orders, but I hear its going to be good.
   Does anyone have a link to a top review. I'd look on google, but it seems my comp has a virus
   and it severly lags on many sites....
