i agree there are just sooo many people who download files form the internet. it will be to hard to get ahold of every one plus i bet they will only go after the once who have the most downlaods, Me i just download things i really need and cant afford at the time wich is only just a few progs i dont download music since i stream it most of the time of some other site :/ ive been using exeem since it came out and i hope that the MPAA stays off it since its way better then kazaa or any other 2p2 i used so far. lol its a scary wolrd we live in...

Unless you were one of the very top uploaders at lokitorrent, I would not worry about it. There were so many users that the chances of being sued are so low. No need to lose sleep over this.

BTW, I would not use exeem since the producers are putting spyware on it.

Nah... you all know that... at the moment you start downloading with one of those kazza-napster-thorrent style peer-2-peer programs, you already then know that it's illegal and it's just matter of time when somehow,someone will get back to you. what goes around - comes around.

if you really want to do such things, and download illegal stuff - do it from some place where it's public - like your school, colledge or internet caffe - just remember that even if there is no need for login, there maybe still be paper login somewhere... and they can still track you down...

I don't think anything bad can happen to you if you've downloaded a program or two from Lokitorrent, but if you're the type who easily gets bored on a Friday night and decides to download a movie or two, then I think you can expect a letter because this is the Motion Pictures Association of America we're talking about.

heh heh heh, glad i never DL'ed anything wrong kazaa, lokitorrent, bittorrent, or anything else like that. i'm squeeky clean

i don't really see the point in pirating stuff. like music for example. i usualy just go to mp3.com, listen to clips and\or watch video's of whatever i'm interested in, and if i like it, i'll go out and buy the CD with operating systems, i'll try them out on those desktop PC's that are set up in various stores, and if i like it, i'll buy it. with games, i'll play a demo, if i like it, i buy it. pirating just isnt worth the risk for me, even though i'm underage. besides, i don't want to practicaly steal money from the honest hard-working people
