| | Hey i was wondering (lthough im sure i already know the answer) does Trap 17 give our domain names if the user agrees to have ads on their site and gets adequate hits? Thats just an impresion i have been getting from members with a domain name. |

No. If you want to register and pay for a domain name yourself, then it can be used with Trap 17 hosting - but it is not provided for you.

You don't pay for them all.. Although, if you want an official (.com, .net, .etc  ) Domain, you do have to pay. There are some sites which allow you to register with something like, www.mysite.it.ok or something of the sort. It was on the forum post which you apply for hosting or something I saw one of these.

They are just URL redirection services, not top-level domains. Some, such as UNI.CC, do provide full DNS features, but they still aren't TLD's.

Exactly what I meant.  Of course, you could always just go with the .trap17.com subdomain too, if you don't care to pay for a domain.

Domains go for around US$8 a year now, so they aren't really that hard to get.

It isnt everybody that have that kinda money and besides, some people and locations across teh world dont have that much access to credit card facilities and that makes it impossible for them to be able to register for a TLD. which is kinda bad

Well, I'v ealso seen very cheap domains for 2$ a year. Although, if you can use cheques (sp?) in your country, you generally can use an online checking facility. (I know because even though I live in the USA, I've had to do that a few times.)

hey , gmail is short for google mail. It offers 1gigabyte of space and big attachment. it can only be gained by an invite from another person.

Domain Problem
(1) Recently I switched my domain to princesstimes.co.cc (didn't renew the old one in time, and
times are bad, so didn't want to get a top level domain for a hobby site) But when I click
www.princesstimes.co.cc it goes to my old domain instead (an advertisement page basically). i

Page Load Error When Trying To Get Into Control Panel
I just changed domain (2) I had put a domain name that I didn't have when I registered my website. I got the 15 credits
and changed it to a subdomain. Now I can't log into my control panel. At first it was telling me

Sub Domain Problem : Urgent
Cannot access my sub domains (10) Hi, I am having some serious problems with my sub domains. I registered a site with trap17 named
http://zoebelkin.co.cc . Then I made 2 sub domains for the site. One is for the forums section
and the other is for the gallery section. 1> forums.zoebelkin.co.cc 2> gallery.zoebelkin.co.cc
Whenever I type these in the browser adress bar the browser gives an output that it cannot find the
web sites. But they are complete and should show something. Also using www. in front of the sub
