| | Hey, my online website and portfolio design has been online and running for a couple of months now. The site is www.djcdesign.net. The reason why I came to Trap17 was because I needed a hosting account for another one of my projects.
I have been web designing for a while, although I only got really serious into web design at the start of this year.
Please visit my site, and give me some feedback/constructive criticism. Also, rate out of 10.
Thankyou. |

hey msd i really like your site. very clean layout and design. i specially love the look and feel of your pages. and you have really clean codes i give it a 9 out of 10. more colors could enhance your pages though. then it would absolutely be perfect

Thanks very much. I've had a few comments that I should add more images, so I'll be doing that sometime soon. My coding is alright to me, but the site was made a couple of months ago, so my coding habits now are much different to the initial coding I did a few months ago. Thanks.

Wow. You have created a very nice looking, apparently very fuctional site. both the design site and the blog look very professional. Love the color scheme. On the contrary, I think that the amount of color you have and the amount of graphics are great, but we'll see what you do with it when you add them. 9.5 out of 10 The biggest problem I have is how, when you hover over the sidebar links in your design site, the cursor changes to be a pointer accompanied by the question mark (at least in XP Home). Personally, I Htink it would be better if you left it the defaut pointing hand (like you have for the sub-catergories), or, if you want something different from that, just a plain cursor, though that may be a bit confusing to some. On the whole, though, you have created two very good sites. I much admire your web design capabilies.

Thanks guys. @Kovi: When I get some spare time from my other projects, I'm planning on going through and "redo" some aspects of the site. @Bash: I've tried my hardest to optimise the graphics without comprimising image detail, and what you see now is a result. I'm on dailup, and it's not that bad for me to download.

it is great pal. I give it a 10 Thanks very much. Since the start of the year I've been learning everything myself from looking at code and tutorials and just working heaps at perfecting what I do. But ever since I got Photoshop 7, my graphics were so much better. I used to use CorelDRAW, but that just didn't cut it. Thanks again.

you are welcome Mr Self Destruct. I also have photoshop+Imageready CS, but i have never taken my time to learn much about it. I guess I have to start doing that seriously in order to start perfecting on my graphics designing abilities.

Well seriously all I did was search for as many cool photoshop tutorials I could, and just played around with them, integrating stuff that I learned in other tutorials with different other ones. My latest project (hosted here) which should be released in a few days is one of my biggest designing improvements. I'll keep you all posted when it's out.

Yeah, I just find that I enjoy web designing as a hobby right now instead of "a job". I just like doing projects as I always seem to learn something new everyday, so I've got to keep it up,
